Greg Douglass. Wrote the music & played guitar on the track, as well as touring with Steve for a few years. Again, cool job. Always fun to see something I'm involved with re-interpreted.
@posteraddict Incredible- I can't believe it! I have so many questions- how did you get that gig? How does someone get to write a #26 hit? Any other tunes I might know? I'd love to interview you for my blog, if you're ever interested. Again, thank you and great to hear from you. ~Jim
@posteraddict: Gregg, I have to say, you and Jimmy Lyons were my two favorite guitarists ever. I got to see you in Bay Area with SMB and Greg Kihn a few times. Thanks for all the great memories!
@posteraddict Are you serious? Are you Turner or Douglass? Well, either way, this is quite the honor. If you ever want to talk music, please send me an email (you can find it on my website- jimfusco . com). I'd love to chat sometime! Thank you SO much for watching and for the great comment- I've been bragging about it all day! -Jim
This guy rocks! He had me when I saw him playing the kazoo in Runaway. I got such a kick out of it that I went and bought one...is no so eazy. Jungle love is my next song to learn. He is inspiring and I thank him for this awesome contribution. ROCK ON!
The first stadium concert I ever went to was in August 1978 Riverfront Stadium Cincinati. The lineup Eddie Money, Steve Miller an The Eagles with Joe Walsh doing his solo hit music from that time. What a great concert. They were all at performance prime. I remember this song so well there despite all the Little Kings Cream Ale...5*
Wow very nice unique voice! I like it a lot! Nice cover! :)
