Mr Kraus is like some sort of older sophisticated man that you could have a very girlish naive and innocent crush on. He's wonderful, may he be happy in heaven, and we're blessed to have this recording. Thanks for uploading this treasure. M. x

Interesting notion. I take your point. Really tho, Kraus was phenomenal. I saw him with Sutherland at both their final performances there. He was as elegant & fabulous as ever - as was she. I'll never forget it ...

Hi - I meant to say "I saw them at their final performances at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC". I see I didn't specify where it was I saw them. I'll never forget it - in Lucia.

Lucky you. Congratulations. How unfair is not to have the chance to see him life as I was born in 81 and still very young when he died in 99. Not fair at all, but my singing preparations for over 10 years are actually based on Krau´s teachings. hopefullly I´ll one day become half as good as he was. Thanks.
