omg i think the meanest part is when the brother and his friend put the bunny in the basket and roll it down the hill i seriously thought the bunny got hurt!!!! i got so sad at that part!
i watched it with my bunny too and she hopped off my lap and went over to the skinned and chopped carrots pot and watch the programme while eating them so then my other bunny came over to me
THIS MOVIE IS WONDERFUL, A VERY LOVELY STORY, MOVIES SHOULD BE LIKE THIS ONE. A VERY FAMILIAR MOVIE, WERE THE KIDS CAN REALLY ENJOY AND LOVE THIS MOVIE. THIS MOVIE IS RATED G, I JUST SAW IT WITH MY BABY, 3 YEAR OLD, AND SHE REALLY LOVE IT... THAT SHE IS WATCHING IT AGAIN...
love love LOVE this movie!!!!! as a bunny educator, I just have to say: NEVER scruff a rabbit! That is only for their moms to do when they are kits (that's what a baby bunny is called, in case you didn't know.) Totally agree: this is a must movie for all those who wish to teach the importance of owning a pet rabbit - or any animal, for that matter. Way to go, Rumple!
my sister just was watching this and telling all about the cute bunnies. and i wanna watch it, but it'll make me sad, i miss my bunny :( ahhh im such a geek
@ChristmasBunnyMovie: Thank you so much for forwarding the information about the song to me; I found it on Spotify and have been enjoying a listen. What a beautifully simple, elegant and touching piece of music it is. Mxx
I hope all you idiots bitching about the 'inhumane conditions' realize that the story involves a woman who runs a rabbit rescue(ZOMG A RABBIT RESCUE WHO USES A BREEDER STYLE SETUP!), and the background setting is at a farm where they also rescue animals and keep them to teach the community about farming. ZOMG. Nothing wrong with this movie, or how the rabbits are kept, or handled. In fact, if you knew anything about it, several rabbit rescues in michigan actually support the movie.
@chinbunny1 & some of those rescues also helped out with the movie. But, i also find it funny the same people who hate breeders, and our way of keeping rabbits(which is the right way BTW, you don't see ours prone to dental diseases, and GI diseases caused by the crappy veggie loaded diet house rabits often get fed), with a passion, would have a hand in the filming of this.
OMG this bunny looks exactly like my Junior!!! I am so watching this movie. Hope people don't go on buying rabbits, please ADOPT!!! Bunnies are not suitable for little children! but they are the best pets ever :) Well, actually, they're not pets, they're more like cute furry little people :)
@makeupholism i've had bunnies all my life, but my parents taught me how fragile they are and how to care for them (which most ppl can't seem to do :( but bunnies are the best pets! they are loving, quiet and can be litter box trained!!!
You should NEVER pick up a bunny by the scruff of the neck. The bunny diet should consist of UNLIMITED timothy hay, with VERY SMALL amounts of TIMOTHY pellets, clean water and fresh veggies from a bunny vet-approved list. If a rabbit struggles when you are holding it release it to avoid injury. Wrap it in a towel (bunny burrito) for safe handling when grooming or giving medicine. Please correct your site then maybe more bunny owners will Like your Facebook page. Thanks!
@smashingstars picking bunnies up by the scruff is the out-dated way to pick them up. ppl used to pick them up by their ears before that :/ as a rabbit owner i agree with you though.
Your website says to "always" hold a rabbit securely even if they struggle & kick, and that's it's "ok" to "momentarily" pick up a bunny by the scruff of the neck, and a "healthy rabbit diet" consists of "good quality pellets, fresh water and fresh vegetables." (to be continued)
Ah!!! finalmente!!! Um filme mostrando que não apenas cães e gatos podem ser ótimos pets!!! Estou super hiper mega ultra ansiosa para assisti-lo!!! rsrs
Would be a great idea if it showed proper ownership.
Small breeders cages are not good enough, scruffing them isn't the proper way to handle them and god knows if you leave that many unneutered rabbits together you're going to get problems.
I see this causing problems for pet rabbits and rescues are going to be left to pick up the pieces.
great another stupid unrealistic video of rabbits, they are not childrens pets, oh and what a perfect time to bring this movie out right on christmas the child watches the movie, the child wants a rabbit, the rabbit is given away, rescues fill up even more. Vicious circle, 33,000 rabbits needing homes and this video will just encourage breeding and children wanting rabbits.
@kalyz this movie did a pretty good job on showing how much care a rabbit needs and that children need to be responsible. movies like 101 dalmatians made the pets to cutesy but i think this movie showed alot about rabbit care ppl wouldn't ordinarily know. but as a rabbit owner, i to disapprove of breeding or ppl giving their children rabbits without being educated.
That bunny is so cute, Reminds me of my bunny Waffles, who is in heaven now. And no bunny would ever like to be put on a sled, she is protecting her pet.
awww he looks like my friends bunny that died 3 weeks after christmas <3 I miss u Radar :'(

You are all sad, you value animals more than humans. Humans have hurt you so you turn to the animal world.

Are you kidding? Humans are the scourge of the earth.
It would be a better place if we didn't exist. There is no denying it.

@MaineShutterbug Rabbits aren't capable of scruffing their kits when they are babies. I agree with the rest of your comment though.
