The technique is flashy but completely worthless from a promotional standpoint, there is absolutely no awareness of the audience or any attempt to convey a message.
You talk about being promotional, when you yourself are spinning what looks like a cheap sign made in your mommas basement. I bet you if we were both standing on the corner, I would get more attention. AARROW ADVERTISING all the way, no other company can touch us, simply beat all the others at their own game.
The right image is not always the slickest or the most expensive, I can reach more people with a simply made sign and proper technique. I have been involved in street performance and busking many years and have studied principles of communication rather than relying on hype that at its root lacks substance. If you came down and played in MY HOUSE you would stop judging the players by the brand of sneakers they wear.
Would they even know what you were promoting, would you COMMUNICATE?
Yes, communication is our key. Unfortunately, with this video you can not tell how we work. Spinning is only half of our duty as advertisers. What ever your technique is I can assure that it is not much but getting every target and dressing like Elvis for attention. Except for the Elvis part we have everything set with targets.
why? no one can even read the sign that youre twirling!

Well I for one if got more hours would practice to be more visually appealing but 2 factors;
1. My pounding grounds are dense downtown area - crowded streets people would get hit.
2. I'm nearly blind and would concuss my self before I got started
so i just shake the sign and bob my head to the beat of my music
people know of my store just not that its in my city, so i end up talking to alot of people before a song finishes
+ never really been much of an exhibitionist . . . with clothes on
