We will not listen to what you say in the name of the LORD. Rather will we continue doing what we had proposed; we will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven & pour out libations to her, as we & our fathers, our kings and princes have done in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem." (Jer 44:16)
"Because you burned incense & sinned against the LORD, not obeying the voice of the LORD, not living by His law, His statutes & His decrees, this evil has befallen you @ the present day." 44:23
@xerosisonek Where in the Bible does it say that Mary is queen, mediatrix or intercessor?
JESUS is Lord. His life and ministry are what the gospel message is all about. Anything beyond this truth, takes away from the essential message. I do not believe that Catholics are all lost, but putting faith in others, whether the pope or Mary is not biblical and leads people away from the truth. I wonder if followers of the pope even read their Bibles, which clearly contradicts what he teaches.
