here are some cool tips that could help you develop your riding skills and your horse!
1. make sure that you follow the horse. you did a great job at doing that!
2. i'm sure you've heard of "2-point.." which is when you come out of the saddle and your arms gradually follow up your horse's neck, depending on how high the jump is. make sure your butt comes out of the saddle a bit, and follow the horse's movement. good job for your first!
try not to throw your body at him so much and give a little bend in your body! dont forget to keep your heels downn too! and try and balance your leg beettter, but nice job! :)
good job! but make sure you go more into 2 point and go with the horse a little more, because as the jumps get higher you will need to do that in order to stay on! lol :)
good job! you probably just want to make sure you follow horse a little more because when the jumps get bigger your horse will knock rails or fall if you go against the motion=] From expirence =]
Great job! For not having ridden english much, your eq on the flat is pretty good (: Yeah what heartsandhoofbeats said, get out of the saddle a little. I think your hands are fine from what I could see.
@hanoverianjumpers101 yea haha my 2 point is really bad b/c i think i am 2 pointing when i am really not lol so yea I know that i have to work on it.... Also do u think that we would be ok for an english equitation show?

@horsebabe2110 i agree she also needs to squeeze with her legs to get the balance she needs for her half seat.

You need to make your horse have some impulsion. If you jump her and dont you could cause injury

@HorsieRider125 If there were no jumping, I'd place bets that you'd be in the top few.
