Wow these trees were already thousands of years when Jesus Christ was born! Most of the old living trees are those ones of high lands areas or cold climate species with needles shape of leaves. Whereas those broad leaves species of the the rain forests last only for hundreds of years!
awesome vid bro! like a romantic serenade or something! wish the echo would have bled through the video, but it is still cool to see you actually there playin your trumpet! 5 stars
I love the Bristlecone Pines (Pinus aristata)!!! They can live for 6000 years or so if left undisturbed in the desert mountains, although they do not live as long at low altitudes I have heard. They live up to about 2000 years or so in Colorado.
You should feel the resin spots on the needles and sniff them. We have them in Cheyenne, WY, in landscaping. The needles, grouped in fives, stay on for about 13 years.
THANK you for this! ~~ {I'm sure that Bristlecone Pine by you would thank you for the serenade if she could too!} ;D
My mother's family was from Bishop/Big Pine/Lone Pine areas.. Her father owned Black's Grocery Store, on Main St. in Bishop. We'd like to move back up there! {enough of the rat-race!} lol
Thanks again for the video, and a little time with the ol' Bristlecone Pine! ;)
I just love the background and I love hearing about the old trees and such! Wonderful job! And yes, I think your trumpet playing is very special! Nice Job!
Praise the LOrd with TUBA and clanging cymbal brother! DO you live in Vegas?? I was in south.east for a year for a year-miss it--not the strip but where you are in this video etc.

I did get a good feel for the echo and a mean cramp in my side. About what I expected in my hypothesis.
