so confused! You have this labeled as triple, but described as double, and in the video labeled double, described as treble, and in the last video, you called it treble, and this one double.
@ptsgrl2495 hi there - sorry this crochet business is actually totally new to me... the pattern says tr2tog and tr3tog - do you know what that means by any chance??? lol
Oooops I hit return to early. To cut a long story short, your videos are THEEEE BEST EVER!! Thank you for taking the time to teach us new folks. LOVE YOU! Please say hello to Diva Dan for me as well.. -Zee, the HAPPY Mail Lady :-)
I am SoOOoOooOooOooOOOoO THANKFUL For you and your videos. I am not a drinker nor do I do drugs. In order to keep my nerves calm, I grab yarn and crochet.. Crochet till the cows, ducks and birdies come home. Haha
You know what, I have been watching crochet videos on youtube for a few months now and you have been the most helpful. You know why? Because you show how to do it the human way, like us normal folks do. Not like its a class and textbooks like some of the other videos. It helps that your videos are real and fun and you are not scared to admit mistakes, like us real humans! Great job!!!!!!!
I just found your videos yesterday and I can see that your videos are going to help me tremendously! My mom has been helping me to learn to crochet, and I thought I was doing a treble on my blanket when I am doing a double treble. I can also see that I am working it way too tight compared to yours. I use my left had to cinch up the thread after I pull the stitch through. Could be why my hand I hold the hook in gets numb easily too. It slows me down to do it that tight, but is hard to not do it.

I'm confused, just looked in my book and it says that throwing the thread over twice is a treble, and throwing it over 3 times is a double treble.

TREBLE! you are right...I should have called this DOUBLE CROCHET!
THanks for bringing it to my attention.
Not sure why there is so much tension on your thread... try changing the way you do things and test what's right for you!
