This is my Home town and in my job i have been lucky enough to travel the world however no matter were i go nothing quite feels like home, like Nott'm i LOVE this place and truly beleave it is the best city in the WORLD!!!!!!

I dunno if you guys can help me out, but I'm transferring from an American university and I've Applied to Glasgow, Leicester, Nottingham, and Newcastle. I'm looking for a city where its relatively easy to get to a nice walk and some green, but also has quite a bit to do in terms of nightlife. any tips/ help there? @RedForLife11 RedForLife - Nottingham has stunning countryside 10mins from city centre on train with tickets cost under £4, packed with variety of bars within walking distance in city centre and has great transport links. :)

@RedForLife11: i am an American and i just returned from a vacation there hanging out with friends. I would have KILLED to been there as a college student. The Trent kids definitely know what they are doing. :-) Nottingham is a lovely/fun city.

I live here and it is pretty cool, there's loads of Robin Hood caves around the caastle too, we have a great city life aswell, you sdhould visit :)

Nottingham! I was there in 2001. It's more than the Robin Hood rubbish, that's for sure. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I did make my pilgrimage to the City Ground for a Forest match. Go Reds!

Our tour bus stopped there in the summer of 1971 for lunch, only thing I remember about it

was the bus driver said the city had the most

i have been there and is not the best thing you can visit in nottingham =) it's too expensive and you can stay there just a little bit its not us big as it seems but i love all the town i would go right now =) the best thing for my is Wollaton Hall & Park it's amazing!!
