In America, women make about 20% less than their male counterparts in most fields of work. You're right that things do need to change and that we shouldn't accept this sort of culture, and just because we make less doesn't mean that we should depend on some man to 'save' us. But to assume that we are all getting our nails done instead of working is just ignorant.
