Hey man! VERY NICE videos!! Started to watch the IndustrialCraft/Jury's Junkyard epsiodes today, and I'm already on episode 23:P I'm going to use this on my server now! looking forward to more of Jury's Junkyard episodes! Subscribed!
Crap, now i am wondering if the obsidian pipes that you are using(if it is the regular ones) if powered will just suck back up the overflow and put it back in the chest in that configuration.. :-/
@fw2k I'm not using obsidian pipes... :) I just know how much it will handle at any given time (6 stacks) I don't have much room for obsidian pipes. lol
Sadly i can not set custom quarry size, something some where is wrong, it just goes poof when it reaches the last bottom side of the orange setup zone.
No explosion or so, just poof, gone.
The default works, but a bit annoying to move all the things around.
Dunno if the filler or builder is affected yet, but probably.
I am thinking of setting up base in the mining holes.
But got no idea how to make it a cool base. :(
(seems appropriate, underground lair and all that)
And yeah, wish i had a bit more room in my machine room that i am using currently too. lol
(soo many cables and pipes running everywhere)
You are still losing quite a few eu on the cables themselves, but as you have just to take a little pause for things to fill up again, i see why fiddling with bat boxes could get tiresome and not necessary.. lol
Personally i have found 8 windmills fills all my needs so far, but i am going to expand too.
@JuryDutySummons If you dont want to use the fiber cables thats ok, but i would suggest making a bunch of bat boxes since they are so cheap and you can chain them so you dont lose any eu. =)
If running your factory 24/7 is getting taxing on your power supply, you can place a Generator or a Geo-Thermal Generator next to your MFE, as an MFE has one output and five input faces.
I make a quick trip to the nether and make stacks of Lava cells 8)
@Newbridge2002 I don't run it non-stop, but I have been noticing that running everything drains that battery fairly quick. A geothermal isn't a bad idea.
Do blaze rods work with IC^2 machines? (As a fuel source), since if you enchanted a sword with looting III, you could fight at a blaze spawner (using fire resistance potions) and gain HUGE amounts of blaze rods. (Seriously, after using up a diamond looting III sword I have nearly an entire double chest full of blaze rods)
@JDingDong8 I'm not sure. They work as fuel in regular furnaces, but I haven't tried one in a IC2 furnace. Frankly, I have so few I'm hesitant. I did find a blaze spawner, but it's so far from my entry into the nether it's inconvenient. (on a side note, I -still- haven't found any nether-wart, so potions are still on hold).
Putting those violet input pipes on the furnace line might help. That way you can throw in different kind of things and when they get rejected they go back to the chest or another furnace (this should work the same for the macerator line)
@littelkidbob Haha... there is that. But... I have a ton of cobble. Like 5 chests worth from my quarry. To me, EE gets ride of the whole idea of scarcity from the game. Who cares if I can't find one particular material when I have other materials? Meh. I'll think about it. Maybe I'll explore that mod once i've gotten further along in BC and IC.

Hey @JuryDutySummons, you should try rubber-boots, they're cheap as hell and prevent fall-damage so no more air-shaft accident :)

But I'll admit, you probably won't use all the features from it considering the fact that you have BC and IC to work with as well.
Trainguyrom 1 month ago
I have to agree that EE is kinda cheap that way, but if you make use of all the features, it balances out.
