I liked this documentary. I really did, although i do not like movies. but sometimes documentaries can be downright phony. allie liked documentarys, and baseball and poems. by any chance do you know where the ducks go in the winter in central park? i wondered where jane was. if she was home. but anyways, i really like this documentary.

@halkiphulkiben if i recall correctly J.D. Salinger stated that he refused when people had asked him permission to make a film addaptation. Im guessing it has something to due with the awkwardness of the main character speaking of his hatred for plays and movies because of how phony they are (even though he goes on to not only quote movies but makes plans to see a movie as well as recalls taking jane gallager to a movie). Anyway as awesome as it would be, i don't think it will ever happen :(

@MynameisRoxas Salinger said that Holden is too complicated of a character to really express him in a movie, and that the only person that could play is Salinger himself, who was however too old for the role. Now, after Salinger's death there are talks that movie rights are available, I am almost sure we'll see a movie in a couple of years.
