Harry Potter is a story where you can relate to almost every character, for example Voldemort is on an obsessive quest for immortality meaning he has a fear of death, something of which we're all afraid of, therefore we can relate to a character we never thought we'd be able to at a single glance. Twilight has none of that, no messages and no themes, it's bland.

The Harry Potter characters are all well developed and have personalities, unlike the shallow main characters of Twilight.

It's not that I hate Twilight or something since so many young people have dedicated their lives to those series and when I first read the books I was really thrilled but when I started reading Eclipse I realised that Bella's and Edward's characters are just so weak, they have no faults at all!
