this is the interview where the reporter gets her school wrong hehe..he says she went to Oklahoma State when she actually went to Oklahoma City University
A friend of mine FBd this tonight, and I concur: this is the best package on Kristin that I have ever seen. Thanks to whomever posted it, and the NY1 people who make it happen...
even if Robin Scherbatzsky didn't get to report it. ;-)
Aah haha! Kristin once again you have blown me away! Haha! Oh i can't wait until your book comes out ^^ seriously this video had me beaming for ear to ear!
Kristin Chenoweth can do practically ANYTHING! OMG she has mad piano skills, killer singing voice, and just an awesome personality! SHe's such an inspiration to me
Yeah, amazing talent. Tony winner. She could win an Emmy for great performance in the Pushing Daisies episode Comfort Food. Being she is doing so many movies, Oscar winner?
One thing that I really love about Kristen is that she is very religious. It's just one thing that makes her seem so down to earth and I can relate to Kristen when it comes to faith because I grew up in the church.
wow I thought I'd seen all the Kristin interviews on youtube but this one is new! Thanks for posting! And I just have to mention I'm bouncing off the walls here because I was lucky enough to get to see Wicked on Broadway this summer, and I went to the stage door, and just thinking that I was in the same spot where Kristin was is so exciting to me (even though it was years apart lol)!
and also, lets keep in mind that Broken Arrow, OK has a population of nearly 100,000 people. The whole metro area has a population of nearly 900,000. So it's not quite as small town as one might think.
I love Kristin, and I love the more serious interviews. It is interesting when you compare the more recent interviews *mostly post Wicked* to the pre-Wicked interviews, *Steel Pier, Epic Proportions, Charlie Brown* At some point, you can hear it in her voice when she addresses her time with Wicked, she became disillusioned. Something happened and the change is obvious, yet interesting.
Lol, CSI the musical - i would so pay to see that!! "Who needs Marg Helgenberger?" Lol thats funny! Love Kristen - she is awesome and so funny in Pushing Daisies! She is also the best Glinda Wicked has ever seen! :D
omg she is incredibly insperational, one day i hope to be like her, accept.....a guy...... lol as soon as i graduate im going to start auditioning for musicals, movies, broadway, EVERYTHING!!!
This interview is exactly why I admire Kristin so much. Aside from being one of the most astonishingly talented performers I can think of (no idea she played the piano on top of being a triple threat), she is one of the most genuine people I have ever come across. You can tell just by listening to her talk that she has a kind heart, and those are few and far between and this world. Bravo to Kristin for staying true to herself. I hope she never changes.
This is really one of my FAV interviews w/t her. Its so intimate and funny and just entertaining. You learn to expect her as more of a person. I luv that =D
yhe funniest thing ever just happened to me..I was like I love the Kristin shitcom instead of saying Sitcom...I was like Uh oh:( hahahah it was hilarious!
Much as I love Cheno, as a transplanted New Yorker myself (I'm from OK as well, imagine that) I need to claify that Broken Arrow OK is a suburb of over 100,000. its literally minutes from Tulsa, which is the 2nd largest city in Oklahoma. Its not like there are horse farms and cowboys and indians. Come on Cheno, you know better..
I found it! It's a potato knish. (noun) Jewish Cookery. a fried or baked turnover or roll of dough with a filling, as of meat, kasha, or potato, often eaten as an appetizer or snack.
This is an amazing video! It tell so much and its so honest about it all. Gosh she is to amazing for words! Its really great 2 know that when you type the word "Kristin" she is the 1st Kristin that comes up on youtube!!!! Keep givings this 5 stars everyone, it deserves it!
I don't think I've heard her mention that she plays the piano before, but obviously it's not new! And how cute is it that she's fascinated wtih Forensics. She said on JLeno that she would have beena private detective if the singing thing didn't work out! She's too cute!
She is just simply Fabulous and she is totally right when she says that she cant do brain surgery but she can entertain because its healing for herself and for others. You just have to love her!
I love Cheno so much! It's a good collection of clips of her work. Texas loves Kristin! And I must say, she has such a talent at the piano! Lol, I'm looking forward to "CSI: The Musical"! Maybe she'll take up writing...No matter what I love her! Notice how her southern accent comes out at some points, lol.
WOW great interview!! So funny and cute!! And WOW no idea she could play piano like that!! SHE IS AMAZING!! Wish I could play like that ... but it will never happen LOL. My brother can play Fur Elise like that though...he would never admit it but he LOVES playing!!
"When I go home is when I really realize that things have changed for me. I'll be in line at McDonalds they're like, 'How you doin'? What would you like?' And I'll be like, 'Um, for you to hurry and get my hamburger.'"
It was hard for me when I first moved here. Because I came from a town where everyone says 'hello' to everyone on the street. I walk down New York and I was like, 'Hi, well how are you today? Well good to meet you.' And everyone was just like, 'Freak.'
This is my favorite interview with Kristin, by a long shot. I didn't know she was adopted. I can't believe it's taken me this long to figure that out too. Hm...Well anyway, thanks for posting this. I love it! =]
My only problem with this is that the guy said she got her degrees from Oklahoma State, which is false. She went to Oklahoma City University!! I would know...they remind us all the time, lol.
"he killed herrrrrr!!!!!!" there's the musical right there...hahahahah love her
