I think the most phallic thing in SC is the Chrysalis from the Zerg campaign. On one of the maps, once it's quite evolved, it looks like a phallus coming from inside a spikey vagina.

Ensnare+Plague may have won it for Juni to be perfectly honest. If by.Hero couldn't run, his muta couldn't regen and they would all die. In any case, I feel that Juni failed to take full advantage of his excellent plagues because he never pressed after plaguing. Creative game from Juni, though I have to say, he plays like he never practiced this particular ZvZ variation. Not that you can blame him really, haha.

their rate of fire is slow and actually they regenerate a bit and attacking and moving back helps the rate of fire cope up and also take less damage

U do it to keep your mutas together, not to let your opponent target weakest unit. Mutas also attack in the same time. Search for muta micro on youtube.

so that the muta don't slow down, muta have HORRIBLE acceleration, so if you just let them attack and leave em there, when counter fire comes ,the muta will take so much time to speed up they'll most likely die. mtua are fast but have bad acceleration, keeps their mobility to maximum and abuse their strengths and hopefully hide their weaknesses

No if you upgraded it to Lair you most likely won't need it for anything else except Hive. Most of the time you won't get speed, transporting or sight for ZvZ.

man, when the HELL are zerg gonna learn to get burrow in zvz? seriously, the difference between winning and losing, a 100/100 min/gas upgrade...

EDIT: now that I've seen the end of the match I realize this wasn't the key play, but I still don't understand why zergs don't get the upgrade... it makes muta harass completely ineffective, forcing them to attack buildings or overlords

Not even close. Yellow vs GGplay was the longest, and even Yarnc vs luxury was longer than this game. And thats only pro games. Xiaozi vs Satanik was about fifty minutes.

Juni screwed up. Had he gone straight Defilers with Plague&Consume, he could have just ended it. Plague&Consume before Juni lost his Hive would have killed by.hero easily.

The problem with Hive tech is that it's *so* expensive. Queen's Nest + Hive is very costly, not to mention the Defiler Mound and the research. Plague and Consume can destroy any number of Zerg units, but it just costs so much money that surviving until the tech kicks in is almost impossible.

Juni could have won this game. When he got off that huge plague on ALL of Heros mutas, he should have A-moved all his mutas straight to Heros main where they would rape anything in their way. He played very defensive when he had the advantage and allowed Hero to build up. The only thing he had to worry about was lings rushing his main in which case all he needed to do was pump lings in his main while his mutas attacked instead of holding the mutas back. GG though.

Well, stacking takes out some aspects of strategy when it comes to attacking. For example, since the "muta cloud" is compact, you can't just single out lone mutas that inevitably stray away with scourage You can't single out and attack specifically damaged units. However, things like Splash damage, Plague and irradiate help balance it out.

Either way, the game is usually who can produce the bigger army. Bigger army's tend to win..

Yes it works also for Corsairs as it's vital to keep the unit count as low as possible because once it has reach some critical mass, it's impossible to take them out. I think it's the major mistake the loser made, not killing them once they had been plagued.
