  • Fantastic! I tried it to boost reception on my blue-ray player, works great in my opinion. I used a large throw away turkey pan. Keep the great ideas rolling!

  • chrome it ...

  • Regardless of what these fools say. You went out of your way to make a DIY video to help others with there own projects. I give you 2 thumbs up. I would give you more but I only have two hands and one thumb on each.

  • hooray for windows xp zune theme :D

  • this guy had some atistic skills. thats sickkkk lol

  • @XxXbadnewsxXx Ghetto applications often times seem "artistic," don't they? Especially when they work so well :)

  • and where is parabolic reflector in this video?

Pictures are taken in bad quality and lot of details goes undetected. Why the rush with changing pictures so fast?

  • @Thumpleck Wow, where to begin?

    1. If you look through the comments (of which there are few, and maybe you just don't like to read), you'll see I willingly admit the reflector is not parabolic, but is still quite effective, regardless.

    2. The pictures were taken with a 5.1 MegaPixel camera, and the screenshots are in 1280x resolution - as well as the video being available in 480p - if you can't see, consult a doctor.

    3. YouTube allows you to pause, rewind, and replay videos.

    4. Trollfail.

  • It's not illegal cracking networks either - as long as you don't get caught ;-0

  • Its not illegal connecting to an open network & there are tons of networks open where i live.

  • I don't get is to ur signal goes down?

  • @celtik916 Because it's directional and it was facing opposite of my router, yes; it only makes sense that other signals it's facing would get strong, and my router's signal (which was "behind" it) would get weaker.

  • @BrokenHorn90 Ok thx and wow that was a fast reply

  • @celtik916 Cause u must pint the ''parabol'' its only catches signals at where u point!

  • Hey hey, cool video. Just so you know, there is no parabolic shape in this video - this is more like a reflector.

  • @drboose Yeah, you're absolutely correct. A parabola is more round, whereas this is more cubic. The equation I used was to find the focal point of a parabola, though. Even if it is just a reflector, it works great. And it was way better than just throwing it out :D But, again, you're absolutely correct. This is by no means a "parabolic" reflector - just a reflector (which still works).

  • you should show us about how to boost wifi range all over the housee!!! thre was only a computer with usb adapter and it works only on that computer.. stupid how fuckin' can u get..

  • 1) Changing variables like position of the computer and adapter as from when I first collected data would violated one of the most important rules in the scientific method: consistency.

    2) Of course it's just the one computer and one adapter. Again - consistency. Regardless of where the computer and adapter were, the bottom line is that the reflector makes a significant difference than without.

    3) Perfect the English language so we can coherently discuss how flawed your argument is.

  • mothe fucker

  • you must show us how to boost wifi range all over the house!! this one computer only get the better signal.. stupid how fucker can you get..

  • -_- shame

  • lolwut `.`

  • I judge you. stealing teh internetz

    (>-_-)> shame.

  • Judged by a Doughnut? NEVA! t(-_-t) Besides, this was just demoing the potential for the parabolic reflector. I pay for my own internet :) (The BELKIN connection you see).
