im german, i love all mexico contry, ive been there and was the marvellous expericnce that ive ever have had in my live, the mexican people are so gentle, the mexican cities are so so so amazing! modernity and properity,
Have you ever been to a city that is at 6000 feet elevation? If you have lived near the coast most of your life altitude can have this effect. Are you an experienced traveler or an unwilling passenger? As you can see from the other comments you are among the minority of those who have been to and eaten at this location where the food is outstandingly good. Maybe you were just having a bad day or perhaps you should just stay home and play video games, yes?
Ye we love the food in Mexico as well. We highly recomend the "Hipo-Campo" on the upper level of the international wing. We also have a killer recipe for Carnitas that is effortles if you would like it.
Crime is in all major cities, Mexico City is no diferent then NYC. Keep to the downtown core and for the most part keep to daylight hours. Do not flag cabs! Get a cab at a cab stand where the driver has an ID card. Do not assoiate with the criminal ellement and you will have no problems at all. We walked and took the subway all over town and found nothing but a normal mix of folks who where mostly very friendly and helpful. See the city, there is no place like it on earth. Have fun!
i agree but really i dont have plans going there i mean it would be nice to visit but every school vacation i dedicate myself to going to tegucigalpa, honduras because i have family members their and to be honest the city its self has changed alot back from 2003. the airprt of tgu is now the most modern airport in central america but the most dangerous one to cause of its short runway. and the city has been named as the fastest growing ad most modern city in central america. i was amazed.
We visited Mexico City, staying just off the Zocola. We truly enjoyed our time there and were impressed with the subway. We have travelled to both coasts via Mexico City. By bus to the west coast and by plane to the east coast. Great tacos at Hippocampus! Are you travelling there?
Mexico City is my favorite city of all! I visit there frequently and I wouldn't mind living there in the future.
