hey whats up? but as i told the other guy, if you go up to the main control panel (with like file, edit, select, etc.) go over to Windows->then you can do 1 of 2 things, you can click dockable dialogs and go to layers, or i think there is a pre-set one where it has all the stuff in one. Well if you are reffereing to the background itself, like making the image pop outside of that box, i dont think you can, because that is the set size of the entire image.
Check the layers. Layers allow you to post many things on top of each other. What you could do is if the only layer you have is your background layer, you can paste it right on there. Or, you can make a 2nd layer on top of your background (make sure it's transparent) and paste it there. Hope i helped. Any other questions just ask.
The video is pretty clear considering i used a regular camera. You can see everything clearly and it is pretty easy to see. As compared to some videos ive seen, with alot of good reviews, when the quality of the video was horrible.

how come when i cut and then paste it, only the outlines show on top of my background? in your vid, u can actually see the picture when u pasted it
