  • When I watched this, I really was fascinated. I really love to see that wonder of birth, and it was such an amazing moment, when it was finally out. I had to cry. :')

  • what do you mean by :not really so much anymore?

  • @htfan199 I know, it's weird. It was meant to pop up after I said "He looks like Elijah" but when I put the title in the video, it pushed that caption back. I'm sure alot of people were wondering the same thing. :)

  • omg that looked so painful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • aww wow that was amazing

  • Haha "Move along-All american rejects" niceee ringtone!

  • im pregnant i 9 month and im going to give birth in 5 days

  • The epidural is the best thing in the world. I highly recommend it. HIGHLY. I had two natural and last one I had an epidural. I can not tell you the difference. I t was amazing. It was so much better. Night and day.

  • Does the epidural make you feel no pain? or is it like little pinches? and does the epidural hurt to get as well?? please help! i've never given birth before and i am 24 weeks around.

  • arhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so cute that is the first time i have seen someone giving birth well 2 if you count when i was being born lol

  • you are so pretty

  • Congratulations :) Your baby is so cute and i really like the video.

  • one question, does it feel funny when only the head is out?

  • wow , congratulations . is that painful ? or did doctor give you any injection as a painkiller or else beforhand ?? i am really afraid of giving birth ;(

  • @Mona5043 The doctor gave her epidural, aka a kind of drug to stop the pain a bit.

  • i loved this video! i'm 5 months and 1 week so i'm scared to give birth watching this made kinda not nervous no more, but im still a lil scared

It's really an emotional shaking moment to see a new life come to this world.

    A BIG CONGRATULATION, ssquee!

  • omg congrats im 3 months pregnant and im scared shitless now lol

  • Wow, all the births I've ever seen like in movies or whatever they've all been screaming their heads off lol

  • What a good baby. No screaming at all and the best birth. Laughter, no painful cries from Mum, phones going off and music. :)

  • awwwwwwww the husband :')

  • I'm pregnant with my 4th, and about a month to go. (July 7th - 9th 2011 due). I am hoping that I will not need much help, and that I can go the route of natural childbirth again, without pitocin (my sworn enemy lol) You did absolutely awesome, and congrats again on your little guy.

  • LOL I just don't want you to pee on me....priceless... epidurals must be wonderful lol, with my daughter (3rd) I was induced and did not progress so being in a hurry, my doc put me on pitocin drip and there was no time (from time of start of drip to delivery was less than an hour) for pain meds. I feel that I really could have used something as the pain was incredible. I intend on not having anything like that ever again. My first two were natural births, with help on my 2nd child I got jelly...

  • Wow, i can't wait to be a mommy..

  • that was beautiful to watch, got me in tears when is saw the baby pop out. awesome job mom!

  • Very surprised that they let you film the birth....many hospitals don't allow this anymore.....congrats!

  • That was great. Hope the whole family is well and thriving.

  • It seems so painless!!how can that be??

  • I have never seen a child born Im only a teenager and wow this is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen done.!!!-Katlin

  • Never let anyone give you a hard time for having an epidural. Now, this was 30 yrs ago,I went to birth classes, the instructor said childbirth pain wasn't that bad. I overheard one couple talking about bringing playing cards, chip/dip and coke when her time came! I kid you not! You will have pain before you have an epidural! I was overfrozen so when I was to push, I couldn't feel a thing! My 2nd arrived so fast, the epi didn't have time to take, but now I know what "PUSH" feels like!

  • my sister has two boys and is about to have a girl. i dont have any kids but i helped out alot with my nephews. i have tears of joy when i watch videos like this because its so beuatiful. i like to see the moms first reaction when she sees her baby. it leaves me speechless. congratulations! :)

  • Wow! I am now 10 weeks pregnant with my first baby and am trying to watch all that I can regarding childbirth. You guys are very inspiring!!!!!! Great job, Mom!!!!!!!!

  • So Beautiful!!! Miracle of Life via YouTube!!!Please pass the Kleenex. My tears are of joy for you and your precious peeps (although this is already a couple of years old). Happy almost B-day #4!

  • oh my goodness congrats! this had me in tears, i'm expecting my first baby in 2 weeks, and i'm very nervous!! i'm having a baby boy too! :)

  • OmG i love this video so much and congrats.!! i can't wait until i have a baby.

  • Thanks for sharing. It brought back memories for me. When I had my two children.

  • its very nice

    i like it

    Congrats

  • Thank you for sharing, it made my cry. Congats. :) :) :)

  • awww..my birthday is on OCTOBER 15!!!

  • amazing!!

  • congrats

  • You look so young, how could that be your fifth!

  • Boy, you delivered that baby like a champ. congradulations!

  • @bttfnut89 Thanks! :)

  • CONGRATULATIONS!! I'm 6 months pregnant now and I'm so scared of giving birth! This is our first baby. When I saw the baby come out of you, I was in tears!

  • @bellabanda08 Aww...how sweet!! Thank you! Congrats on your pregnancy!! Giving birth is always a little bit scary, but it's so amazing!

  • @bellabanda08 congrats! :)

  • @bellabanda08 i was scared to death too of giving birth naturally when i was pregnant with my daughter and God made it so i gave birth early and it was c-section. i still had contraction pains days after the c-section but its normal, but thats the contraction pains i got, was after. the pain of the c-section itself is painful too but i would prefer another c-section if i ever had another child. i would not want to push. but good luck and dont worry, you will be fine!

  • @bellabanda08

oh god im scared too :) but after that all i think its such a good feeling to see your little baby :D

  • @bellabanda08

It doesn't hurt much.Hope your baby is happy and healthy!C:

It's a miracle to see your baby for the first time.

  • wow how did you not scream the place down? Congratulations x

  • This is the best birth video I have ever seen on youtube and I've watched A LOT of birth videos!!! Congrats!!

  • @ellasgammy Thank you so much!!

  • @ssquee you are very lucky to have had a child god bless u and ur child :)

  • Is it just me or did the doctors seen a bit weird? She nearly threw the baby at you so as not to get anything on her lol. A beautiful video, good to see someone admitting to having an epidural. Its nothing to be ashamed of, why go through all that pain if you dont have to. You've carried the baby for 9months, given it life, why not bring it into the world pain free.

    :) Congratulations

  • @melbts83 I don't know why she did that...she's not weird. :) I think she just wanted to place him on me as quickly as possible. And I agree...an epidural is not something to be ashamed of. I actually didn't even get my epidural until about 30 minutes before I delievered him. I've delivered a baby without one, so I do know what it's like! It's more enjoyable with an epidural...that way, you can focus on your baby coming into the world, and not on the pain!

  • Wow what a wonderful video... thank you so much for sharing it with us. I am a nursing student and its videos and experienced like this that really makes me want to be an L&D nurse

  • Weird weird question, i'm 16. and i want kids, but i'm iffy on them placing it straight onto you?? does it smell? i know its odd but my sister is a tight a** and wont tell me anything lol.

  • @AlbinoWolfCub HAHA!!! No, it doesn't smell. Amniotic fluid has no smell to it. Babies actually have a very pleasant smell when they are brand new! ...until they fill their diapers, of course. ;)

  • @ssquee Haha Brand New :D

  • @ssquee this is so precious =)

  • im having my first in december.... no1 expected it.... not much support from mom and dad even tho im 21... i have a lot of support from my sister.... im glad there r people out ther that supported u and urs.... and hopefully mine later down the line

  • @bazzybaby00 Congratulations on your precious baby!!! Sorry about your family! Hang in there...they'll come around when they see that sweet little angel! :)

  • he is so cute

  • did it hurt? and the people there make it seem faster and easy

  • Thank you for such a quick reply! You've given me a whole new motivation and you've reminded me why I decided to wait in the first place. There are times when I feel weak and I want to schedule an gender peek at a local 3-D place. Luckily, I haven't done it. I really want the moment you had in the video!

  • Congratulations! What a lovely video. I hope your baby is healthy. They grow up so quickly. My oldest is 12, but I still remember that moment when they put him on my tummy. The best moment of my life. :-) Thanks for letting me relive it!

  • @2005ndcstudent Thank you so much!! The baby in this video is 3 now, and he's doing great!!! :) They do grow up quickly...too quickly!

  • I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my 4th. I already have 2 girls and 1 boy. This baby is a surprise. Is that moment (when you finally find out the gender) as amazing I am imagining?

  • @smsampson13 Congratulations!! To answer your question, yes, that moment is amazing!!! I kept going back and forth every week what I thought the baby was, and right at the last minute, I thought for sure I was having a girl. It's so exciting!! :) It was so fun to pack boy and girl clothes in the hospital bag, and not know which one you will be using! :) God bless!!

  • I love that you and your family seem to be having lots of fun! I'm having my first baby in August and I'm scared to death! I'm glad to see it doesnt all have to be horror and screaming

  • @almsify It was fun! I had amazing support, and a great epidural!! ;) Good luck!

  • Wow, it almost seems like there was some fun during the whole process

  • I had some kind of pain medicine in an IV drip and it kept the contractions subsided until i was dialted to a 7 then when i was at a 7 it was hurting so so bad i was holding onto the bed and the lady came around and gave me my epidural and in one hour i went from a 6 to a 9.. Then the baby came! i didnt scream or cry or make any noise when i gave birth either! just turned really red faced! i was so amazed at how it didnt hur as bad as i thought it would! congrats!

  • I Just had a baby! She turbed two weeks old friday! I was Soooooo afraid to go into labor! I was induced 3 days before my due date. i was really afraid but after he broke my water it was all just waiting really. This is my first child.

  • I want her as a doctor! She sounds like she made the whole experience fun! Congratulations!!!!! What a beautiful experience!

  • why did they use a catheter to make you wee? Were you unable to go?? Congrats by the way

  • @162kirsty With an epidural, I didn't have the sensation to go, so they just tried to put it in to empty my bladder, but the baby's head was so far down, they couldn't get it in.

  • I was just curious. Did you ever consider doing a natural home birth? It's an option I have really begun to think a lot about, even an unassisted one. Lol, by number three I'm sure you were a pro at it! And I hope number five went well for you.

  • CONGRADS!!!! :D I wish you and your family the best! :)

  • OMG...IM 35WEEKS IM SCARED ::(

  • @liltaygmc2032 when are u due?

  • Thumbs up for EPIDURAL I HAD IT WITH MY FIRST BABY THIS PAST OCTOBER AND BOY DID IT HELP! YAY

  • Did u have a epidural or any pain medication?

  • @SwaggerSoSexy84 she said in the video that "this is the best epidural ever."

  • i don't understand, isn't she in pain ? she seems like not feeling any pain!

  • @abraham66 the contractions are what hurt.

  • Being a man I'd probably cry and then when it's out I'd scream "PUT IT BACK IN!"

  • congrats on your baby boy you did a great job!!!

  • Congratz On That Day! :) , Sort Of Puts Me Off Having Children Since It Looks Like It Hurt So Much Plus Im Too Young To Have Children Anyways LOL.

  • How many people in this room ???? In France, there is one person form family or other while delivery

  • Does it hurt? I am scared even though I'm not pregnant.

  • @yorkiedog1409 Obviously it does. But i guess it would feel kinda 'freeing' no? You could always just get a c-section..:P

  • @Lollipopz0o

it is soo unfair in the us you can have it, in germany only when the mother's or the baby's life is at risk.

  • @yorkiedog1409 im not a woman, but those agonizing cries should say "Yes."

  • @yorkiedog1409 Lol does it hurt.

  • i had my twin girls naturally..i mean..i had the epidural kinda against my will becouse doctors told me i shoud have it other wise i could lose my strengh and end up in c-section.... it was god cuz i enjoied every second of the labor perfectly happy and not screaming.

the next one??i dont know but ill try without it..MAYBE lol :)

women u really take pain to create a human......

  • i agree,i had the controlled epidural on the 7/7 this year, where they top you up when needed plus you can still walk around after and i didnt have any problems,in fact i cannot wait until my next one..just go in with an open mind and do as your told and all will be fine,in fact you may even enjoy it..its a very exciting day, just wished now that i'd recorded it :-(

  • My birth was fun and enjoyable without any pain meds :)

  • congratulations sweetie...good luck! epidurals are not so bad as the lady below me says...mine couldnt be place but only cause my muscles seized horribly during the contractions...so i had something else...but believe me u can do it..and its better not to yell cause ur diverting energy away from ur bottom that u need to effectively push

  • so beautiful :)

  • Its fun!!! Omg u must not be from this planet
