I love the idea... the speed and repeatability of a "serdi" seat cut, without the deflection or chatter!! I am going to end up buying this setup, and drive it on my IDL machine
Yes, you just have to level and align the pilot with machine's quill, and turn cutter head about 45-80 RPM's, finish and concentricity will be better using the bridgeport type mill or basic seat and guide machine.

we have a bridge port, along with numerours 3 axis cnc mills, i believe i will be acquring one of these in the not too near future.
