When i went there last year, the deer would eat anything....paper or bottles haha. i had to keep pushing it's head away from me i suppose i am lucky it didn't bite hahaha

Haha! It happened to me every time I went there, maybe 6-7 times. You need the deer-fight power ^_^

Ah, Miyajima is such a great place! I could have sat there forever watching the water flow in and out of the Torii gate. So serene.

And those deer...they tried to eat my snacks. Note to all who go there: when around deer, do not allow your snack bag or box to make sounds. The deer will get you.
