I think the story is about each of the things said before by Llyrics , lovecanfly, LukLukification and freakyeah95 .. The main thing is that she is searching for love but she doesn't have much hope she'll find it.

My answe to that is that you should keep chasing pavements :-) It always leads you somewhere...! =D don't give up on love! ;-)

@lillicap i think the song means that she loved someone but she never told them. and now their gone and she trying to find them. searching every where, or "chasing pavements" to find that person. and shes questiong if she should keep searching or just stop looking because that person is gone. makes sense?
