Please, Please both ladies are great singers the album sales says it all. One doesn't wipe the floor with the other or knock the socks off the other. I prefer Kelly version but I don't have to put down Leona Lewis to elevate Kelly, to each is own.

i don't think you can compare the two, there both great in there own way, kelly has more of an edgy and almost rock like, where leona is more to do with passion and higher notes, two different singers with great voices. Leona has a lot more emtion in it, we know this cause during the final,so she sings with her heart, and kelly does what she does best, sing with a message, but that's my point good video nice try and they are both fab!

Kelly has better control, Leona has great high notes, but what her low notes are terrible....Kelly has a better range, Leona's range comes out flat sometimes, and Kelly has a stronger rocky edge.

I feel you need to be educated a little. Pop Idol started out in the UK as Pop Stars, then it became Pop Idol and was a HUGE success. Then Simon took the idea to America and the US Pop Idol was born, while the UK version became The X Factor. Therefore, the X Factor's existence has absolutely sod all to do with Kelly Clarkson.
