Looking good so far, my only question is about the 'cover sprite' that follows the mouse around a block, and whether in your game you plan to either make it one fixed position along side the block (i.e. directly in the MIDDLE of the edge).
Keep up the good work, I completely know the feeling about not managing to finish a project, I have 4 game projects I've put on hold as well as one I haven't even put a video up of yet, only lasted 4 days =\.
@limited06 We'll see. RIght now the cover sprite goes anywhere, but there are many places you wouldn't need to take cover (such as in the middle of a big wall) so I may limit it to just the places you'd actually want to take cover. I guess I'll find out once things are more complete and playable and I'll do what's best.
Looks like you're making a great start. You never cease to amaze me with how quickly you can pick up languages, you've been through C#, Objective C++ to C++. Keep it up :)
Nice Update, Keep'em coming. I cant wait to see the cover system in action. Also, i understand whatchu mean when it comes to finishing games, its easy to get caught up in some great idea so you gotta try to keep it simple. Your conclusion about making a difference in someones life with games is right on point , i understand where your coming from and it sounds good to me.

@rogue72uk Thanks. I'm not sure what you mean about the engine, though.

@TheEternalQuest1 Haha! Thanks. I find C# the most pleasant, but C++ feels like home somehow.

@Z3r0XoL Um... I spent a bunch of the video talking about that! Did you have a question about a specific part of it?
