this song is great!!! who is the artist? even though I am just starting to get into Jean all I see is how pretty she looked in the pics .... i don't see her here as ill but then again a real big fan could tell the difference.

my late uncle worked on the set, and said they had to put so much makeup on her and change camera angles since she was bloated...no one knew...her last scene she filmed is when she is in her railroad sleeping car bed...

Yes, she did look ill in this movie. Still beautiful, thoiugh. There is still no cure for what was wrong with her. She was sure a trooper. I heard her stand-in say that on Jeans ;last day on the set, that jean asked if she could have her lunch in her dressing room because as she said "I just don't feel well." I think they just should have ended Saratoga at her last scene, and maybe added a still with her birth and death date. The fake scenes with the double are unintentionally hilarious.

@murraymae that is not true about there being no cures and remedy's for what caused her death in our day! Just being kidney failure that was the ultimate culprit in her young death at 26 of course there are, it is just so sad there was none in 1837, no anti biotic, no kidney dyalisis or the transplants of today, she would have just turned 100 years old this past March 2011, and been alive and still witty I am sure.

she was dying of kidney failure during this filming. there are scenes where she looked bloated due to uremic poisoning. the technology of the day could not have averted her death..alas

thank you for posting this beautiful video photo tribute for jean harlow, and just in time for her birthday on march 3rd. so sad she passed away so young. the song you selected is also most appropriate, and its a beautiful song too. i guess the title is "wish you were here". i would like to know who sang it, because i would like to buy the recording. thank you.
