snake was perfect, voice was great, look was very similar to the actual solid snake. attitude was identical to haha. but whoever the hell the guy is that was talking to him in the plane was a horrible actor, he sounded like he was trying to take a shit everytime he talked, he tried way to hard. but other than that i loved the movie, being a huge metal gear gear fan myself, great job, this is my second time watching it
Incredible for a dedicated fan made film, and good acting, if a couple of dedicated fans can make this kind of good film without millions of dollars and hi tech equipment then the creator of Metal Gear should re consider and actually plan the actual film adaption right....thumbs up if you agree?

I just watched this today. I heard about it a couple years ago. Never watched it though because I don't think it was finished yet. I saw it today randomly I remembered it. I am actually very impressed. Funny how fans can make a great movie like this. Probably cause they know the games much better then the assholes in hollywood. This movie was great. The only flaws it had IMO was that snake looked alittle too young and their lips didn't match all the time. But still very very good. 9 outta 10 IMO

I think the 2nd male protagonist looks better than the Snake actor, though both of 2 not look like Snake, I think a CG head like Tron Legacy's Clu is more suitable for Snake. Actually, the CG part is not bad for Fan made standard, hope this movie will motivate Hideo Kojima make a real MGS movie soon!
Only issue I got with the movie is that Snake is more like a steriotypical disgruntled badass rather than the cannon Snake who is serious, but has a good sense of humor and a curious personality.
Not to mention this movie's Snake is a tad preachy. I mean, Snake is known for his long dialogs about morality, but they generally saved for the closing words at the end of the game. This Snake is a little bit...like...okay, shut up, Snake, You're a wise veteran soldier. I get it.

this is an amazing fan-movie! i watched it elsewhere, but that's not the point. the point is, it really feels like your watching a cutscene on an MGS game!
idk what, but something doesnt seem right. Everything is done VERY WELL though! I liked the outerheaven clip, but snake isn't as cold blooded as he was portrayed. Also, philanthropy was mainly just colonel, snake, otacon, mei ling, and i think there was one other person. I never had the impression it was big and well organized with resources like it is also portrayed. I am just judging by what i saw in mgs2 and mgs4. In MGS4 they mainly had colonel and otacon planning everything.

I remember seeing hte fan made trailer of MGSP by Giacomo Talamini, never would have imagine that my fellow Italians would have gatheres so much budget and cast to make a good movie. They really took their work seriously.

idk what, but something doesnt seem right. Everything is done VERY WELL though! I liked the outerheaven clip, but snake isn't as cold blooded as he was portrayed. Also, philanthropy was mainly just colonel, snake, otacon, mei ling, and i think there was one other person. I never had the impression it was big and well organized with resources like it is also portrayed. I am just judging by what i saw in mgs2 and mgs4. In MGS4 they mainly had colonel and otacon planning everything.

@giuliomav That's what bothers me, Metal Gear has a great story by itself without having to be catered to the ignorant audience, by that I meant people who have never played the game. Plus by following the story accurately and making a good movie out of it, they potentially get more audience and money since the fans who like it will want to go see it with other people. No though, they have to butcher the story, character design, and overall greatness of games they portray.. why??

lol you have lost it. this movie is not even 0,1% of why metal gear is one of the best stories/games ever created. This movie is incredibly amateuristic and has a fake plastic feel, it's incredibly forced and the acting and writing are terrible. Not to mentions the characters, lol, its like they all just walked straight out of a COSPLAY meeting..

You clearly ignore how hard it is to produce something without a million dollars or more, let alone a couple of guys to run everything related to the project, so until you do, you just can suck your own stinky hairy dick.

Probably one of the best fanmade movies ever. Very well done for a $10,000 budget. They even did the music great! If Hollywood does a real Metal Gear movie, Hideo Kojima has got to be the director or at least have most of the control over the film.
