i myself have always favored ff6 above all else. kefka was an amazing villian and really made the game, not to mention the wonderfully interesting storyline and gameplay. 7 is pretty good, i must admit, and 12 is one of my favorites (i like the style/gameplay/designs-exceptvaan-...sue me), but 8 is WAY overrated/sucky, 10 was only mildly impressive, 10-2 made me cry a little in shame, 1 was totally WTFML, 3 and 4 made me cringe.........yeah. i'll shut up now. :)

Honestly, 7 is overrated and 8 was a mixed bag. 9 for me was the absolute best in the series; yes, I'm a fan of the art, I love the transition back to the good old days in the series, the villian is superior to 7 and 8's (despite the fact he looks ridiculous), the plot was simple and much easier to follow; I could go on forever of why I love 9, but that's besides the point lol
@TheInstantClassic1 I haven't played through all the games yet but so far, 7 is classic (not superior but classic), 8 is a game that is good for certain individuals while others find it awful, and 9 (so far) has been quite odd but I believe it will be awesome (the hippo woman creeps me out though in the inn at the first city).

The only reason why not nearly as many people have pointed out how overrated the other FF games are is because they didn't receive even an eighth of the amount of attention that FFVII got. I mean, FFVII is milked like crazy with all of the prequels and sequels it gets.

Just because you do not like his form of critiquing, does not give you the rights to attack him personally. We all have an opinion about people, and if you dislike him, fine.
