a good tip :D i dont wanna say like im pro, but im pretty good at this game around 37 kills 11 deaths, like try play tactics and dont just run, watch jusr movements. crouch and prone ALOT
yea it takes some time to get used to but you have to remember you cant just run and gun like in cs:s, practice your tactics and stealth it'll help alot
id play this game over cod any day just cause you dont get shot 8 times and revive your hp magically. COD 4 to me is like a shitty arcade game you can play for about 5 minutes maybe then get over it. I dont like any of the COD games though. Too scripted for me i guess

You cant unlock any scopes or guns, everyone gets the same stuff no matter what, In the screen where you choose your character/class you can often choose which gun. Different classes may use the same guns but some have different upgrades.

no way beta for cs2..no way tolly different and its the most realistic fps ever. no croshairs only, iron sights, 1 shot kills you. you dont run very fast and have ..i repeat have to work as a team or u get PWNED..

Its a good game, be kind of frustrating when you cant see who your getting shot. But if you play with people you know and a server in which people talk and communicate in it can be a really fun game. Graphics looks fucking amazing.
When you download, save it to your desktop(or whereever else you want it) then right click on the file and press "Extract Files".
It will ask you where you want to save them to again save to your desktop(or where ever else you want) You should know have a regular folder, open it up and install the mod.

I'm psyched for the update, especially because I can make my own player, and the new rifles are pretty sweet, but with the delay I would hope the glitches will be minimal. I hope I.E.D's come into play at some point...
God I hope they fixed the damn problem with bullets hitting below the mark, even when shooting something less than a foot away from you. Also, they needed to fix the player body placement, cause people can still "Sandbag".
theres nothing wrong with the bullets hitting the mark. the sights on a m16 and ak47 are a good 1-1.5 inches above the barrel. if u put ur muzzle up against a wall, u can be looking through ur sights above the wall, doesnt mean ur rounds are gonna go above it. All that is from the devs tryin to make the game more realistic
It's based on a real conflict, you act like it's victimizing people. The Islamic sects that preach support of the violent efforts of the Middle Easterners featured in this game need to be hated anyway, it's time their backwards, violent teachings get wiped away, allowing modern, peaceful Islam to take its course. More realism doesn't always mean a better game, if every game was as realistic as possible they wouldn't be very fun, and not many people would play them. Red Orchestra is a dreadful game anyway, although it would probably be good in organised clan matches. BF2 just seems too fake, and getting kills aren't satisfying, this game is much better. Although i think BF vietnam is a good game.
I agree red Orchestra doesn't seem all that realistic, i dont know what it is exactly but its just not all that fun, its quite inaccessible to new players. To me it just seemed a bit clumbsy, the gun mounting system wasn't integrated well, near impossible to mount an mg from a window with any chance of shooting someone. And its annoying for your tank to be stopped by a tiny wooden fence.
How is this hate towards Middle Eastern people? They are using real world conflicts to make a videogame, they are not advocating mate towrads a certain group of people. Also, what makes the Americans terrorists? We retailiated against an attack on our country and liberaterd another from Saddam Hussein. As I recall almost everyone except a small group of extremists were celebrating that day.
I don't know man, if it's trying to replicate warfare realistically, I don't think an infantryman with all his equipment would be able to spin around on the dime. If you're referring to walking, I think they just tried to make that realistic as they could as well.
Well I would like to see some way to move sideways faster, maybe have some sort of side-step maneuver so that I can have at least some chance of evading someone's aim.

Because, technicly, in the sunlight/daylight there is no muzzle flash visible, and this being a realistic Mod there is none visible. At night, however, there is a muzzle flash visible, just like in the game.

True, realism isn't connected to making a game better.
I don't think realism is appreciated in games like Team Fortress 2.
But one can't claim Insurgency at it's current state is more realistic then Red Orchestra.

I agree red Orchestra doesn't seem all that realistic, i dont know what it is exactly but its just not all that fun, its quite inaccessible to new players. To me it just seemed a bit clumbsy, the gun mounting system wasn't integrated well, near impossible to mount an mg from a window with any chance of shooting someone. And its annoying for your tank to be stopped by a tiny wooden fence.

I never had any problems deploying a machinegun position, the gun mounting system is based on the surfaces.
In some custom maps (or on certain sprites or no-collide SMs) it doesn't work.
But 99% of all time it works properly.
I agree about the tank being stopped by a tiny wooden fence, but I don't think the netcode will handle that correctly without more lag.

How is this hate towards Middle Eastern people? They are using real world conflicts to make a videogame, they are not advocating mate towrads a certain group of people. Also, what makes the Americans terrorists? We retailiated against an attack on our country and liberaterd another from Saddam Hussein. As I recall almost everyone except a small group of extremists were celebrating that day.

You can sometimes see gun flares at night but really you don't see them very often.
It looks pretty dank though.

I don't know man, if it's trying to replicate warfare realistically, I don't think an infantryman with all his equipment would be able to spin around on the dime. If you're referring to walking, I think they just tried to make that realistic as they could as well.

Well I would like to see some way to move sideways faster, maybe have some sort of side-step maneuver so that I can have at least some chance of evading someone's aim.

looks good. but the heck ain't there any muzzleflashes included, yet?! I mean, I hate those flashy, movie-like things, the put in most games, but your mod is so realistic, can't you just include some cool, subtle effects? PLEASE!! ;-)

Because, technicly, in the sunlight/daylight there is no muzzle flash visible, and this being a realistic Mod there is none visible. At night, however, there is a muzzle flash visible, just like in the game.

It's a teaser video, that 3rd person view is not something included as a gameplay feature.
If you want to check it, create a local server, and type in console: "sv_cheats 1" and then "thirdperson". It also works when watching a demo.
