Unfortunately, sytemic failures and racism have led to a situation where many minorities are at a distinct dissadvantage. This has nothing to do with blacks being inferior, it has to do with whites being racist assholes for over 200 years that has created this unbalanced situation! Public Health Care is a nightmare; no doctors or nurses and waits of years for needed surgeries. When Obama brings troops home from Iraq, that area will immediately destabilize and oil will be either unavailable or unaffordable.

Learned people are not necessary intelligent. In fact they are guilty of herd mentality; to conform is more important than indepedent thinking. Time count...dodd speaks for 33 seconds, Wallace for about a minute and 29 seconds...sounds like Fox to me. Rather than an inquisitive interview, Wallace invites Dodd not to talk, but rather to sit him down and tell him why he is wrong, cutting him off all the way through the "interview."

meaning he will have an overly ambitious pro black agenda opposed to say Hillary or McCain Im not saying blacks shouldnt have equal rights just saying there are more important issues right now considering there are no civil rights differences between a black person and per say a white person yet he puts emphasis on aiding blacks which at this point is not really needed. Everyone has a fair shot if they pull their own weight in life... thats a personal thing one must decide help or be helped.

I need to disappear for the evening (I have work first thing in the morning), but intend to get back with a proper reply. You raised valid/fair points that are seriously worth discussing (plus you're very much entitled to a reply, having taken the time to answer my question).

Obama cannot change the laws to suit black people, no president can do that white or black. The root of racism is fear, I pray you get over you fear. If Barack is elected president, don't worry, black people will not suddenly have more rights than you.

First off Shut up, your an idiot! Secondly that is not at all the point nor am I racist. I've just observed many times how people favor their own group whatever that might be and I think that he will focus on the race issue more than McCain would and that is irritating since the only thing seperating blacks from whites is their civil/ethical reputation. Blacks dont need more "oh poor me" programs they need to raise their cultural standards and you watch how fast they'll get respect from whitie.

Me: Well, there was no reason to publicly reject something that was not yet public! You seem to think that Obama should have organized a press conference in order to say, "hey, I belong to a church with a pastor that sometimes says stupid things, but I reject the stupid things he says".
