Do you know the floor platform UNDER the Companion Cube, didn't they removed and moved it beside the Door thingy (The one you walk through) the same platform as the Plasma Ball Catcher?

I must have tried 10 times before I managed to put the portal on the 45° moving "door" pannel (the time is real tight).

Your way is definitely easier!

It's the fastest way without "illegal" glitches (i.e. ninja jamming doors or floating with an item).

when i try this method i get killed by the turrets when i try to get the box and take it back to the portal.

it takes you 33 seconds to do the turret room, it takes me just over a minute to do the whole test chamber.

your way is pretty slow :P

@cal2jack it took me like 8 deaths and just over an hour to do just the turret room, anything under 3 minutes impresses me.

its kinda forces people to find the *correct* way to do the puzzle

unlike inn the normal one you coud use alot of other ways to solve the puzzle

Example: in the first advanced map the floor is turned into that horrible looking... vomit

and you must simplify the thought narrowing it down to, Portal into the room and solve the puzzle but this is harder to do.

rather, just take the box thats in the first room,stand on the button then portal through instead of taking the cube on the scaffold

Incredible, I'm definately trying that next time I play through that map.

I like the way the advanced maps offer a second degree of challenge after you complete the game. The regular maps left me feeling like there was so much that could be explored and accomplished with Portals and the advanced maps helped quench that itch<<< poor illogical parallel.

Great idea there. I did it in a similar way by shooting on the wall on the left and shooting two portals on the platform down below but I have to take care of at least one turret to do that otherwise I get shot at by 2+ turrets (instant death). I'll try your way

The platform is not there in normal mode, only advanced.
