Bulgarian and Macedonian practically the same language. I don't care what anyone says. I am Bulgarian, and I can perfectly understand a Macedonian person.
There is NO Macedonian language!!!! It's OLD Bulgarian, Macedonia don't have the contemporary Bulgarian language, because the region Macedonia was separated from their original country BULGARIA.
Macedonia was never been "Bulgarian" land. Unfortunately, Macedonia was under Bulgarian occupation since 1913 as well as under Serbian and Greek occupation. The language in this song is Macedonian language. Greeks, Bulgarians and others can say what they want, but however, the truth is that Macedonia exists, you like it or not. Stop with your propaganda against Macedonia and Macedonian people. Stop with lies. 100 times repeat lie come truth? NO!
you just need a heart to understand it - and if you have understood you will know that everyone who has at least one ear to listen is the owner of any song he´ll ever hear .... peace :-)
This is sung in Macedonian and not in the Bulgarian. There is a language called Macedonian you know--a language..not a "style". I think you should update yourself a bit more.
Not to be mean or somenthing, but it seems to me that your forgettin about the Romanians, like always.! this time the truth! the song is aslo present in Romania since forgotten time we call it :"Ioane, Ioane" here is link . it`s a bit differnt but surely you can se ethe remeblence and think twice about arguing about was the one to sing this magnificent song first.makedonija remeber your ancestors!
Not to be mean or something, but Makedonija what about your the Romanian brothers!?or you have forgotten too? so it`s been long since something was said about this: so please keep in mind that what have the song to. It`s called :"Ioane, Ioane". It`s a little bit different but you can see where all the versions are coming.
i live in macedonia and i speak macedonian. and vardar is not in bulgarija. big hallo from one ethnic macedonian. god thank you because i was not born as bulgarian.
yes Ben,i would also say that it is macedonian song.Just as respect to our brothers and neighbors from Macedonija.Macedonija is free independent country now days, but macedonian folklore is also inseparable part of the bulgarian folklore.Viele Gruesse Ben.
