Awesomeeee! I just picked one of these up at a thrift store for $40 in hopes that it could be bent... I can't wait to see what I can do with it. Thanks for posting this, I made the right choice.
Yeah, I wish i had a few more of these. I found some room for improvement after I wired everything up, extra "features" I'd put in if i could start over from the beginning. A friend is giving me his DD-8 though.
Those are some pretty hip beats and sounds.

Do you have any advice or suggested bends you found out or tricks with capacitors, potentiometers etc before I start hardwiring mine?
