I love how the faith of one person can bring so many people together. As an atheist I have nothing but love and respect for Kristin and her beliefs. It doesn't matter what religion we follow, if any. What's important is seeing the good in people and remaining humble, as Kristin does with ease.

I liked her up until 7:20. I'm not a Christian because I don't agree with their views. I was raised Christian but because I don't believe in their views, I left that faith. How can you have one foot in such a strong belief and one foot out like Chenowith? It's slightly hypocritical. You can couple that with posing in a bathing suit on FHM. She sends a mixed message for that religion. Unnattractive.

Oh Kristin....Love ya, but the fact that you say "that is what you believe" as far as gay rights, you need to read your Bible alittle more. Growing up Southern Baptist, I am sure there is a reason behind why Christians dont agree. Maybe you should research what you grew up on...and not your "feelings". Feelings can be misleading.

The Bible may have a lot of good things in it. But a lot of times it can't be taken quite so literally. She most likely have worked with gay people, has gay friends and not to mention she has a huge gay fan base. She is choosing to believe what she thinks is right. Jesus was accepting of all, isn't that what the Bible is all about? Just because she was raised Southern Baptist religion is supposed to be what you believe, not what some book tells you. Well, the Jesus I know...the One from the Bible DID die for all people. But in order to be a child of God, you must believe in Christ and be obedient to what He commands. If it isnt a sin to be gay, then explain to me Romans 1-when God says, that He gave men over to their sinful desires-abandoning NATURAL relations for UNNATURAL lists for other men. (Read Romans 1:18-32) You are right when I am not to judge, but that does not mean I will put up with people creating false hope when theres none.

Why would I sit back and relax when I hear someone giving "false hope." Christ did more than just love and pray. What about the time he overturned tables and ran everyone out of the temple stairs? (John 2:12) I do pray for those people, but God also calls for action. And yes, homosexuality is a sin...did you read Romans 1:18 like I said? Why would I be open minded to the world? I am not trying to "change your mind"...that is not my motive, just trying to make you understand that you cannot claim to believe in Christ and be His follower and disciple, yet dont do what He commands. There is harm in the fact that you dont care a homosexual is going to spend eternity in a very real hell unless they believe in the name of Jesus and obey his commands. Its the fact that you dont care about thier souls and just think " anything goes."

I agree with you, but dont get me wrong and think that I dont love gays or any other lost person. I love them...I just dont look past their sin and brush it off. I let them know the only One who can save them. It's one thing to love someone...but you are not loving them if you dont also share the hope that is within you.
