Hi jarjar, not a wanna-be here! But in the South Eastern city suburb I patrol (and the surrounding 5 citys it is procedure to stop at all traffic contol signals even when running Code 3 meaning "lights and sirens" if there is any traffic present. If there is little to no traffic and we can see all 4 corners of a intersection, then we may decide to go through. Or if we trip the traffic lights to all red, we might just go right on through.

If you're running a green and a cop blows through from a red light you have every right to take action. For CAUTION'S SAKE you're supposed to have an eye open, but even emergency vehicles need to follow the law. They dont just BLOW lights, they are constantly on alert.

Do you know anything about law enforcement (or even seen any other police shows)? He's on a normal patrol, when stopped at a red light. Notice the dash cam audio is not on. Notice that the car made a Right turn. Obviously he heard the call, and then responded. Obviously the Right turn was made for a reason, and probalbly due to the pursuit was not in front of the officer! Trust me, not fake, or Madison PD would of been all over this!
