i agree, eisenhowernixon...there are nothing wrong with these things, as long as you don't make them your God....and i thought that "Yahweh" was another word for God??
Jer. 10:2-4 has nothing to do with Christmas trees but rather with the practice of idolatry (Compare this passage with Psalm 115:4, Psalm 135:15 and Isa 40:19-20 for starters).
Rick Perry needs to spend more time studying Scripture and less time putting together hurried videos with wrong information.

Where in this vid did u even come up with that idea!? This has NOTHING to do w/being Jewish or not. Jew isn't even mentioned in the OT, Israelites are...read your Bible and you will see that...plus the word Jew is a later made up word that replaced Judeans which only ment you lived there and Judahites. Judahites are from the tribe of Judah. Rev states many "Jews" are not really "Jews" that say they are. The 10 Commandments were given to the Israelites.

If we abide in Christ then He abides in us which means His righteousness abides in us. Since His righteousness is perfect, we are accounted as perfect-meaning we are counted as non-transgressors of Torah and Commandments. For ex: if we are in Yahshua we have accepted YHVH's lamb as our Passover Lamb, He is our offering, we do wear the fringes with the blue cord--which represents Christ--we are wearing Him--etc. The Torah (which means instructions) has a spiritual fulfillment in Christ.
cont> So by putting on Christ and abiding in Him and He in me, I am Torah (instruction) perfect. I now continue in Spirit to keep the commandments of YHVH. When I fail, I confess my sin and He is faithful and just to forgive me of all unrighteousness. This truly is a daily walk of fellowship and love with our friend and savior. Shalom.
For the commandments, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet, and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

So, were you in Jerusalem this passed Pesach / passover? You should have been according to, Leviticus 23, and are commanded to be there two more times this year. Are you going? Its a COMMANDMENT. You are to go up to Jerusalem three times a year, on Pesach (Passover), Shavuot (Pentecost), and Sukkot (Tabernacles) !
If you are a man , do you shave? You COMMANDED not to: Leviticus 19:27. How about mildew. Do you deal with mildew as COMMANDED in Leviticus 13-14?
I bet you dont check your cloths, bed sheets or linens to make sure that they are not of mixed fibers as COMMANDED in Leviticus 19:19. Oh and that applies to garden seeds as well. BTW, of which of the 613 COMMANDMENTS in TORA do you not keep?
23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after that faith is come, WE ARE NO LONGER under a schoolmaster. 26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Romans 7 1Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. 4Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
repent is defined as shuwb...and then it goes on to give it's meaning.
This is confusing...please tell me:
Who is being commanded to "turn BACK" to Yahweh?
Where did this definition come from?
Did it come from someone's interpretation of what they read in the Torah or is the definition separate from it? Why couldn't the context within the Torah define for itself?

Do you not know that you are the temple of God & that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God wil destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
So go ahead drink til your liver sribbles up, smoke til your lungs collapse, & do what you feel.
Do you drink coffee? or soda? eat shellfish? eat pork? or use aspartame?
All those and more can be harmful to your body, but yet that does not defile the temple, whatsoever. ONLY sin defiles the temple and not what you eat or drink.
Matthew 15:11 "NOT that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this DEFILETH a man."
I agree, Christ is our rest. This is pretty clear in scripture. Now that I am truly resting N Him & loving Him, I am seeking out ways 2 please Him.I was personally convicted by the Holy Spirit 2 observe sabbath so I do.I look forward 2 it each week & get excited when it's Friday evening.Even though I daily talk 2 Him, read His word, & think about Him, I look forward 2 this special time that I know is exclusive 2 Him(& every day is Holy 2 Him).I love Him!
"What if one is not convicted to observe the Sabbath".
Here is an overview of what I see in scripture: we each have our own personal relationship w/ Yahshua; those who are led by the Spirit are the sons of YHVH; He convicts each of us of different things at different times;no scripture is of private interpretation;the more we read His words, the better we get 2 know Him;YHVH is perfect & doesn't change;we should only look to Him because in the end, He is our final judge & redeemer.Shalom!
*Just wanted you to know that I am not SDA. Messianics are made up of both Jews and Gentiles who believe that Yahshua is the promised Messiah, raised from the dead...so I guess in that way you could say I am Messianic. Shalom!
What does the Messiah repeatedly tell everyone. "If you love me, keep my commandments." Who are the Saints mentioned in Revelation? Those who keep the commandments and testimony of the Messiah. Who does the Messiah tell to depart He never knew them, why those who are Lawless and do not keep the commandments!
BUT NOW the righteousness of God without the law is manifested
BUT NOW we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Are you positive... according to what the scriptures teach hermeneuticly, that you are indeed loving and honoring our Risen Saviour OR are you frustrating the grace of God?
"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."
Where is Chubby Checker?...I hear the "Twist" about to come on!
I only ask because I am curious. Many Sabbath-keepers I know are offline, and they won't be online till sunset tomorrow, but yet you and "faxchase" are online during the Sabbath.
Wouldn't that constitute as breaking the Sabbath? I'm only asking.
The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. I am neither SDA or Messianic. The Messiah said, "Keep my commandments!" One of those are, Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it holy. Paul also said Demons tormented him to keep him a humble man. (Very disturbing)
1 John 3:23 "And this is HIS COMMANDMENT, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment."
"The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath."
Only if you truly knew what Christ meant from that. He was rebuking a militant sabbath-keeper like SDAs tend to be.
"Who does the Messiah tell to depart He never knew them,"
False prophets. Start reading from verse 15 in Matthew 7.
BUT NOW we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit,*** and not in the oldness of the letter.***
But avoid foolish & ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife.
Isaiah 28:7
But they also have erred through wine & intoxicating drink are out of way; the priest & prophet have erred thru intoxicating drink -they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
For all tables are full of vomit & filth; NO PLACE IS CLEAN.
for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from SIN, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of GOD
For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing te wil of the Gentles-when we walked in lewdness, lusts, Drunkenness, revelries, Drinking parties, & abominable idolatries.
Its a carnal act for a carnal minded man, but for the spiritual minded man we put on the mind of Christ.
A primitive root; properly to sigh, that is, breathe strongly; by implication to be sorry, that is, (in a favorable sense) to pity, console or (reflexively) rue; or (unfavorably) to avenge (oneself): - comfort (self), ease [ones self], repent (-er, -ing, self).
Thank you for listing these definitions. It seems the translators used the same word 'repent' for two completely different words-meaning the greek repent was not a translation of the Hebrew repent-but rather two completely different words.
Nacham has NO guilt associated with it. Ex. God repented (consoled himself) of making man on earth. Shuv has guilt or sin associated with it, meaning turn from sin and to God.
Two completely different words were translated as the same English word.
Also notice that in Act 8:22 the word used is metanoia. This is a Greek word and not a form of a Hebrew word. It is a different word alltogether, one that was mistakenly translated as the same word-repent- in English.
I said "...God, Who is without sin, cannot "repent." He CAN console himself, however." I marvel that someone gave this a thumbs-down...who here thinks God can sin???
Can you show me a single verse where Paul commands the Gentiles to observe the Sabbath in his Pauline epistles? Remember, he dealt with alot of sun(day) worshippers.
It's sad that many Saturnday worshippers missed the part that Christ becoming our REST.
"And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of Elohim, AND have the testimony of Yahushua the Messiah"
You want to know what Commandments John was speaking about In Revelation? Let's go back to his epistles...
1 John 3:23 "And this is HIS COMMANDMENT, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment."
"And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, THAT WE WALK AFTER HIS COMMANDMENTS. THIS IS THE COMMANDMENT, THAT, AS YE HAVE HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING, YE SHOULD WALK IN IT."
1John 3:4
"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."
"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked."
"Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an OLD commandment which ye had FROM THE BEGINNING. The OLD commandment is THE WORD which ye have HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING."
I don't worship on any saturn day as you suggest... I obey the commandments and keeping the Sabbath is one of them.
The dragon is wroth with those that Keep them & hold the testamony of Yahushua, which is why you are attacking me and mocking the Sabbath and calling it a day for the false god saturn.
"The dragon is wroth with those that Keep them & hold the testamony of Yahushua, which is why you are attacking me and mocking the Sabbath and calling it a day for the false god saturn." Wow, very good point.
"For as the NEW HEAVENS and the NEW EARTH, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith YHWH, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one NEW MOON to another, and from one SABBATH to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith YHWH."
"And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh."
Why do you resist the royal law? Our Messiah was clear on this matter in Matthew 5:17-19
The Earth is still here and so are His Commandments.
"And account that the longsuffering of our Master is salvation; even as our beloved brother PAUL also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things HARD TO BE UNDERSTOOD, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction."
They twisted Paul's words in the those days and it has not stopped.
Awesome becuz the Lord commands this be kept FOREVER too..do you do this?
Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments THROUGHOUT THEIR GENERATIONS,and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:
And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it,and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
We should realize that the end times church is fallen according to scripture.
"They twisted Paul's words in the those days and it has not stopped. "
Now that is the truth! If only you understood it is exactly what you keep doing by using OT "Kingdom of Heaven" teachings...and force them upon people who have been saved completely by grace thru faith.
Pay attention to when Paul speaks..BUT NOW - it denoted the change you seem to willingly miss.
You have to trust/believe ON the finished work...stop keeping your salvation!
2. There is only ONE branch not two with different rules.
I do not say that one should have full knowledge all at once but we are to learn His ways as laid out in Acts 15. The things they requested were a minimum standard to be allowed into the synagogues. From this point they were to learn on the Sabbath's of His ways.
He didn't say the Sabbath was going to save him...and what's with the "lol" and the attitude? Maybe re-read the commandment you mentioned you do believe in again..."love one another." faxchase is showing respect to you and I don't see it being reciprocated. The fruit of the spirit is love.
"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"
"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."1Jhn 3:4
So then...it's His faith in us that makes it stand in this day...not our obedience to keeping the law - voila!
Paul was right on...We don't sin so grace may abound...that's not the issue.
Keeping rules, ordinances and laws meant for different purposes, different people in a different dispensation is sin though...consider what Paul says and God will give you understanding (or so the Bible tells us)
Hello there :), I just saw this comment. I did answer it when you asked it below. It's a good thing to fellowship and discuss scriptures and it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
There's a difference between keeping the law for righteousness and obeying out of love.
"20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?"
Verse "26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
We are of course not saved by our works but they are a sign of our fatih.
Keeping commandments is not about earning salvation..we are saved by Grace.
Keeping commandments is how Christ said we show we love Him and said those who do are His friends. Keeping commandments is showing loving, honoring and respecting the One who died for my transgressions. We honor and love Him by keeping His commandments.

What is coming out of your mouth is coming from out of your heart. Is it love?

I haven't said anything derogatory. I was speaking about the issue of the Sabbath.
Do you observe it? Do you agree we Christians should observe it - even tho Christ is our rest?
theheat151 2 years ago
Sorry about that, I misread something.
I agree, Christ is our rest. This is pretty clear in scripture. Now that I am truly resting N Him & loving Him, I am seeking out ways 2 please Him.I was personally convicted by the Holy Spirit 2 observe sabbath so I do.I look forward 2 it each week & get excited when it's Friday evening.Even though I daily talk 2 Him, read His word, & think about Him, I look forward 2 this special time that I know is exclusive 2 Him(& every day is Holy 2 Him).I love Him!
boltingpuppies 2 years ago 3
What if one is not convicted to observe the Sabbath? Not every Christian does, 'cept for SDAs and Messianics.
Paul once said, "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."

theheat151 2 years ago
"What if one is not convicted to observe the Sabbath".
Here is an overview of what I see in scripture: we each have our own personal relationship w/ Yahshua; those who are led by the Spirit are the sons of YHVH; He convicts each of us of different things at different times;no scripture is of private interpretation;the more we read His words, the better we get 2 know Him;YHVH is perfect & doesn't change;we should only look to Him because in the end, He is our final judge & redeemer.Shalom!
boltingpuppies 2 years ago 3
*Just wanted you to know that I am not SDA. Messianics are made up of both Jews and Gentiles who believe that Yahshua is the promised Messiah, raised from the dead...so I guess in that way you could say I am Messianic. Shalom!

What does the Messiah repeatedly tell everyone. "If you love me, keep my commandments." Who are the Saints mentioned in Revelation? Those who keep the commandments and testimony of the Messiah. Who does the Messiah tell to depart He never knew them, why those who are Lawless and do not keep the commandments!

Exactly. I love Him so I keep His commandments. This is how we can know we have come to know Him.

And who did the resurrected Jesus Christ give to US specifically, in this dispensation, to follow? The Apostle Paul!
"...a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me." (Paul)

"Be ye followers of me (Paul), even as I also am of Christ."

Right, we serve in newness of spirit. We don't stop serving, but we do serve with a different motivation...love and honor to our risen Savior.
boltingpuppies 2 years ago 2
How do you serve? By keeping the law?
Are you positive... according to what the scriptures teach hermeneuticly, that you are indeed loving and honoring our Risen Saviour OR are you frustrating the grace of God?

I only ask because I am curious. Many Sabbath-keepers I know are offline, and they won't be online till sunset tomorrow, but yet you and "faxchase" are online during the Sabbath.
Wouldn't that constitute as breaking the Sabbath? I'm only asking.

Isaiah6twothrueight 2 years ago
The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. I am neither SDA or Messianic. The Messiah said, "Keep my commandments!" One of those are, Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it holy. Paul also said Demons tormented him to keep him a humble man. (Very disturbing)
wayisnarrow 2 years ago
1 John 3:23 "And this is HIS COMMANDMENT, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment."
"The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath."
Only if you truly knew what Christ meant from that. He was rebuking a militant sabbath-keeper like SDAs tend to be.
"Who does the Messiah tell to depart He never knew them,"
False prophets. Start reading from verse 15 in Matthew 7.

1Peter 4:1-3
for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from SIN, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of GOD
For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing te wil of the Gentles-when we walked in lewdness, lusts, Drunkenness, revelries, Drinking parties, & abominable idolatries.
Its a carnal act for a carnal minded man, but for the spiritual minded man we put on the mind of Christ.
carbin15 2 years ago
Nobody is talking about getting drunk. Drunkeness is a SIN, yes - but a drink is NOT!!
Did Christ not drink wine? YES!! Did not Paul also say it is ok to have a drink? YES!!
I don't even drink, but I can tell you that drinking is not a sin, but getting drunk is. There's a difference.
Just like eating is not a sin, but being a glutton is.

OT usage of word "REPENT" as in Exodus 32:12 :
H5162
נחם
nâcham
naw-kham'
A primitive root; properly to sigh, that is, breathe strongly; by implication to be sorry, that is, (in a favorable sense) to pity, console or (reflexively) rue; or (unfavorably) to avenge (oneself): - comfort (self), ease [ones self], repent (-er, -ing, self).
JimmyTheKirkie 2 years ago
Forms of that word are also found in the NT as in Acts 8:22.
The word שוב shuv, is also asociated with 'repent' but speaks more of returning.
You would use the Hebrew term teshuvah when talking about returning to The Law..........Both terms are correct and used depending on context.

boltingpuppies 2 years ago
Thank you for listing these definitions. It seems the translators used the same word 'repent' for two completely different words-meaning the greek repent was not a translation of the Hebrew repent-but rather two completely different words.
Nacham has NO guilt associated with it. Ex. God repented (consoled himself) of making man on earth. Shuv has guilt or sin associated with it, meaning turn from sin and to God.
Two completely different words were translated as the same English word.
boltingpuppies 2 years ago
Also notice that in Act 8:22 the word used is metanoia. This is a Greek word and not a form of a Hebrew word. It is a different word alltogether, one that was mistakenly translated as the same word-repent- in English.
boltingpuppies 2 years ago 2
Excellent point...God, Who is without sin, cannot "repent." He CAN console himself, however.

"And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of Elohim, AND have the testimony of Yahushua the Messiah"
Rev. 14:12
"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of Elohim, and the faith of Yahushua."
Rev. 22:14 KJV
Why do the Saints need patience to Keep the Commandments?
Can you tell me where it says to pick which ones to obey and which ones not to obey?

You want to know what Commandments John was speaking about In Revelation? Let's go back to his epistles...
1 John 3:23 "And this is HIS COMMANDMENT, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment."
Now, go back to worshipping Saturnday.
theheat151 2 years ago
Let's review a few more from John:
2 John 1:5-6
"And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, THAT WE WALK AFTER HIS COMMANDMENTS. THIS IS THE COMMANDMENT, THAT, AS YE HAVE HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING, YE SHOULD WALK IN IT."
1John 3:4
"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."
More to come...
faxchase 2 years ago 2
1John 2:3-6 (verse seven to follow)
"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked."
faxchase 2 years ago 3
1 John 2:7
"Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an OLD commandment which ye had FROM THE BEGINNING. The OLD commandment is THE WORD which ye have HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING."
I don't worship on any saturn day as you suggest... I obey the commandments and keeping the Sabbath is one of them.
The dragon is wroth with those that Keep them & hold the testamony of Yahushua, which is why you are attacking me and mocking the Sabbath and calling it a day for the false god saturn.

1 John 2:7 speaks of the commandment found in Deuteronomy 6:5...

What saves you? Believing in Christ or working for your salvation like you are trying to imply?
So keep on thinking that the Sabbath is going to save you...lol.
theheat151 2 years ago
That scripture is exactly how I feel (Romans 3:31). I obey because I love him, and faith is defined well in James:
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
I don't trust in my woks... My works are an example of my faith.
faxchase 2 years ago 2
Faxchase, Romans 3:31 is speaking about the Torah. Do you observe the Torah?
Romans 2:17 "Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the Torah, and makest thy boast of God"

Isaiah 66 22-24
"For as the NEW HEAVENS and the NEW EARTH, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith YHWH, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one NEW MOON to another, and from one SABBATH to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith YHWH."
Next verse to follow...
faxchase 2 years ago 2
"And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh."
Why do you resist the royal law? Our Messiah was clear on this matter in Matthew 5:17-19
The Earth is still here and so are His Commandments.

2 Peter 3:15-16
"And account that the longsuffering of our Master is salvation; even as our beloved brother PAUL also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things HARD TO BE UNDERSTOOD, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction."
They twisted Paul's words in the those days and it has not stopped.

Isaiah6twothrueight 2 years ago
Count the Sabbath as dung? That is foolishness.
wayisnarrow 2 years ago
Ignoring God's doctrine - picking and choosing scripture rather than studying to show yourself approved is foolishness.
By the way...It's Friday evening. Are you pleasing your flesh by being on the computer?
Methinks you are clueless about how to "keep the Sabbath"
Isaiah6twothrueight 2 years ago
Nope. It is by His works but I do them because it is a sign of love towards Him.
John 14:15
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
Matt 5:19
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
We should realize that the end times church is fallen according to scripture.

Pay attention to when Paul speaks..BUT NOW - it denoted the change you seem to willingly miss.
You have to trust/believe ON the finished work...stop keeping your salvation!
Isaiah6twothrueight 2 years ago
Isaiah 66 is after Judgment Day, not before.
Matthew 5:17-19 is speaking about the Torah. Remember Christ was speaking to Torah-observant Jews. He was not, however speaking to Gentiles.
theheat151 2 years ago
1. I know, just showing it's important to Him
2. There is only ONE branch not two with different rules.
I do not say that one should have full knowledge all at once but we are to learn His ways as laid out in Acts 15. The things they requested were a minimum standard to be allowed into the synagogues. From this point they were to learn on the Sabbath's of His ways.
faxchase 2 years ago 3
So do you observe the Torah as the disciples and Paul did while they were under the Law?
theheat151 2 years ago
Actually, if you believe what you claim you do:
1 John 2:20
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know ALL things
So, why are you contradicting scripture?...you SHOULD have an unction and know ALL things!
Tell me about your sabbath keeping (on Friday evening at 11:17 pm CST)? How does one "keep" the sabbath lawfully?
Isaiah6twothrueight 2 years ago
I think he needs to be stoned for breaking the Sabbath. What do you think?
theheat151 2 years ago
I bet he takes the grace that Paul talks about now!
Keeping the sabbath is all fun and games until someone loses an eye...LOL
Yeah...people always want to pretend they "keep" it and are following the Biblical standard...yet somehow miss the curses for breaking these laws.
I can only think of Monty Python...they actually do some good satire on our sorry religious state!
Isaiah6twothrueight 2 years ago
Why don't you show where the Sabbath has been broken please. If you can show with scripture then I will repent.
The Messiah said it was lawfull to do good on the Sabbath.

Keeping rules, ordinances and laws meant for different purposes, different people in a different dispensation is sin though...consider what Paul says and God will give you understanding (or so the Bible tells us)
Isaiah6twothrueight 2 years ago
I'm curious what your definition of 'faith' is?
We are saved by YHVH's grace. Grace is Jesus/Yahshua. But this grace is bestowed on us through 'faith'.
What is faith?

Hello there :), I just saw this comment. I did answer it when you asked it below. It's a good thing to fellowship and discuss scriptures and it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
There's a difference between keeping the law for righteousness and obeying out of love.

Which basically means...do as thou wilt?
