I'm one of the biggest Cat Power fans, but I agree this version doesn't suit her voice. Her slow version she did for the Covers Record is one of her best songs and i even like it better than the original.

Her voice really doesn't suit this type of music. She's being eaten by the instruments. Makes me sad.
