Man, the theme's screwed up, the stage's screwed up (it's indoors now WTF? Did they not have enough creativity to recreate the giant bulb-topped pillars?), and he's creepy-ish now (listen to what he says quote-wise before boss fights and battle phrases and think about it...)

No doubt. In my opinion, the main thrust behind this piece is 1) hope and 2) motivation. And this version is trying to be elevator muzak with a bass problem, so it fails on both accounts.
