  • @MasterStacona I know that your comment is 1 year old but my MacBook Pro 13-inch has 16GBs of RAM through the OWC turnkey program and no single consumer processor in the world has 10GHz and no single computer in the world has a TB of memory and a lot of video cards even before 2010, had 1GB or more video memory.

  • is this also for the 2010 15" macbook pro?

  • See nothing they say is about the processor meaning that Macs suck, they just talk about the battery. Laptops use more energy to power better processors, this processor is crap so the battery will use less energy making the battery last longer, trust me power and efficiency is better than more energy saving, I am a "PC" user and always will be, but if you just want to use something like Microsoft Word then this Macbook would be fine, for anything above that you'll need a real laptop.

  • Hmm, Intel Core 2 Duos suck now? I thought they were industry standard on most Windows notebooks as well. In fact, thats the processor I use for my gaming PC, although just a little more powerful. Mind you, I don't plan on running crysis with my Macbook any time soon.

  • you did read the title of the video it says "battery video" in bold to tell you that it is about the battery not the processor.

  • You cannot just criticize what you don't know about. The Macbook Pro has a 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor - an amazing processor! Also, they didn't mention it because this is a battery video, which means they will talk about the battery and not the processor.

  • 3.06GHz duo is equivalent to 6.12GHz

    My computer is over 10GHz and a quarter of the price of your mac!

    duo = 2

    quad = 4

    DO NOT BE DECEIVED!

    Apple is the deceiver...

  • look - I use Apple computers because they are useful for making music and video - I am a musician and use my computer for my music - SO IT MAKES SENSE TO HAVE A MAC BECAUSE YOU CAN'T DO THAT STUFF ON WINDOWS

  • mac and windows have different qualities - I need mac for its digital media qualities, but you may not need these features... you may need features that are alternatively in windows

  • oh and about the processor, i'm happy with the speed of my computer!

  • I'm a video editter / maker...

    8GB of ram:

    10Ghz processor

    GB of video memory

    1 TB of memory

    Awesome specs for video viewing / making / editting / downloading

    NO LAG EVER! As I use my uncle's brand new Mac and it is already lagging (Brand new as in got for Christmas 2009)

    I can also make / play music and play games, do any office work, use any program I want, stream video / movies / music to my Xbox 360

    Apple - specs are under the typical computer and Apple has a bigger price tag

  • well from my experience the mac is far better for the arts and media

  • Macs use the Same Processors as a PC. the Operating System can control the Hardware of the computer. So the OS and user has full control. Hence why a Mac usually run betters because hardware and software are both run and controlled by the same person and item. thus running in harmony, Less problems and more power control

  • macs are so cool especially this one but its too big i prefer the 15 inch macbook pro with 5 hours

  • OK I will! I also like pointless SPAM does that count!

  • 8 hours!!!!!!! my macbook only gets about 2 and a half

  • Is yours a previous generation? Also note that if you have Airport turned on and/or using processor-intensive apps, your battery life will be shorter.

  • i'm proud to be a Mac user!

  • i hope steve is getting better

  • He already is.

  • this is like... how it's made - apple style. :D

  • beutiful....amazing..apple u have done it again

  • you are so fast ^^

  • That's what she said
