  • I use a mixture of sulfuric and hydrofluoric acid for rust removal on the sides of buildings and homes. The rust is from those sprinklers. On contact it goes away.

  • where the fuck is the rest of the film? i really want to see it :(

  • eh just put NaOH on it

  • That would produce heat when reacting with the acid, and burn you further. its also harder to wash off...

  • Here is a Reminder From The AMerican Medical Association......

DON'T POUR SULFURIC ACID ON YOUR GENITALS!!!

  • @Pookatube No shit dumbass =_= Youd have to be on meth or crack to do that

  • @Pookatube It makes ur cock bigger, watch the sugar+sulfuric acid, video, it grows a nigger dick. :D

  • kin, sulfuric will cause deeper burns so would do more long term damage. Hydrochloric can burn, yes, but it's primary risk is that you can not breath the vapor.. your lungs literally refuse to breath it in. Chlorine gas is quite deadly but the long term risks for both acids are burns, not poisoning primarily.

  • unless you're dumb enough to use HF :D

  • @freakin1random Well, Hydrofluoric certainly has it's own risks.. we discussed them before :P

  • lol yazden. those acids would cause havoc if used in war. but its against the world law using biological weapons

  • Which would be more dangerous overall; sulfur or hydrochloric acid? Specifically, which one would have a longer-term effect?

  • Where can I buy HCI?

  • eBay. 20 dollars, 950cc.

  • why does conc. HCl fog when the bottle opens? is teh fog harmful?

  • HCl is extremely volatile, meaning it evaporates very quickly. the fog is vaporized HCl, and is extremely dangerous. therefore, you should always use concentrated HCl in a working fume hood if possible.

  • e these acids used in war?

  • no I believe that is in violation of the geneva conventions.

  • oh i love the soundtrack

  • Where can I purchase this video?

  • download it and put it on a DvD lol

  • I've worked with both acids quite a bit and as long as you DONT LET THE ACID GET ON YOUR SKIN, they're perfectly safe to work with. Also, neither acid is very flammable, so there are much worse things you could work with.

  • Yes like making Nitroglycerin.

  • Had to work with HCl and H2SO4 when doing chemistry experiments in college. Indeed they are safe when properly handled, but there's always murphy's law to intervene.

Biggest thing to note is that HCl is used to disolve the material in bones to make products like film.

  • very good

  • nice . i learnt a lot xD

  • Thats nice! it cuts off before the saftey lecture is over. I didn't hear a word about HCL acid. Why would u show a two minute clip on hazardous acid handleing. Where's the rest?

  • @skipp39

If you read the up-loaders comments you will see that this is a trailer for a safety video they are selling. In other words it is SPAM. They are not trying to "teach you" they are trying to "sell you".

Target audience is Safety / HazMat departments of chemical companies.

  • Sulfuric is something you don't want to mess with. It reacts with water, and actually spreads more on the skin when water is applied.

  • Yes but this video are for those who use sulfuric acid or any kind of acid for there experiments. Like me for example, in handling these acids i will have to learn the safety of them first.

  • You also forgot Nitric Acid, it dyes your skin yellow, due to the reaction with keratin.

  • Well that depends on the quantity of water used, doesn't it? You're better off pouring a lot of water to wash it off than to let it dissolve the water from your own skin!

  • hi, where do you think I could get the whole of this video..??

    itz interesting..

  • very interesting
