I am Australian and I swear to god that the guys here don't sound like Ryan does. Well I don't seem to notice the accent! I find that it's more prominent with Aussie people who have gone to America (or maybe I just notice it more cos the reporters and that have American accents).

There's 10 books so far, I'm not sure if she's still going or not.

The show seems to be going in the order of the books and it has stuck pretty close to the plot as well (only some things have changed, such as jessica's involvement- she was only a small part and didn't stay with Bill or anything- and there's less fairies in the books). The first book is about the Rene plot, the second Dallas, third Alcide and Debbie, and fourth is what seems to be coming up in the fourth series!
