hes a good driver, but i lost respect after it was discovered he was cheating by checking the roads a lot before events, more than the 2 reccy drives everyone else got. and then he won the rally as a result of cheating, thats very poor in my opinion, especially as on that event delecour was the better driver, and also his teamate.

I don't think so .. I have seen retired drivers testing new cars and getting lap records pretty close to the present drivers records and in most cases better than present testers... I believe this is natural inborn talent... maybe you can lose your attention or your endurance because of the years you know but I don't agree with you. Panizzi would be a great star but he couldn't show a steady success as Loeb has been doing..In one race Panizzi was good and in another he was terrible..Which car firm can hold and support such a pilot?..But nevertheless, if you think him apart from a championship, he is a great talent esp. for concret roads...I wish him to be a rally trainer for juniors..He will do that job well enough..
