  • @randomcrap666 LOL Basically. Windows 7 is much less likely to be compromised though, even (especially) if Granny is running it. The Windows 7 UAC scares her away from installing anything offered by websites and SPAM email.

  • this is not windows 7

its only like a remake of windows 7

    but its VISTA

    THIS is FAKE !!!

  • Anything after Windows XP is CRAP! Microsoft thinks bloatware is what people need, they have NO idea that they're cutting their own throat.

  • @Beaster456 It's windows 7. That's when they were first designing it.

  • FAKE!

  • lol windows 7 is pretty much the same just a small theme change with a little better bench marks.

  • FAKE!

  • looking at this i find nothing amazing as OSX already had it for years.

  • Just another ugly, half ass, clunky looking copy of Apple's OSX. With all Microsoft's money, why can't their R&D come up with something that looks totally different on their own?

  • whatever microsoft will do - you (mac followers) will say it's a copy. But i agree that microsoft should do something about it. I start hating apple for being jerks, laughing at other companies and setting high prices. We need something to kick into apple's ass.

  • i did burn some of the copy of the bulid version,

the rundown of that for me is.. it's security, it cheks authentication, every boot up, and reviews every shutdown and evaluates on the next boot up. i don't know.. i was just tranced by it's advancement it has many securitiy management inside that is sleeping still. and i wonder what it'l look like exactly when it's awake.. on release.

  • i have a beta version of se7en, but a lot better than that, i manage to extend the 30 days period to 130days and freeze it.

using only some key activator and some those wow64 inside the system (though i cannot explain now since i cannot remember anymore0 but i did, but still i revert back to vista, i was so annoyed of the evaluation word on the lowerleft, so i gave up. easy as that.

  • Personally i think the whole move your windows to the top and side thing is stupid. I will stick with my mac OS X

  • @JamesRex2014 Haha, spoken like a true fanboy. You realize that Apple Inc/ (not apple computer anymore) doesn't care about you anymore and is only really interested in their ipods, ipads, etc?

I have used OSX and really its not bad. I prefer Windows 7 but both are viable OS's.

The "snap to" feature is very handy, to bash it means you haven't used it or are just biased against Windows.

  • @mygaffer Apple is having a "Back to the Mac" press event on Oct. 20, 2010. We expect to see Mac OS X 10.7, the next version of their operating system, demonstrated.

There's much more to Apple than their mobile devices!

  • Must be an old beta, b/c Windows 7 has a different taskbar than Vista, personally, I like the Windows Vista one over the Windows 7, but other than that, its no different than Vista.

  • the gui isn't but it runs faster and safer

  • Yea, I am thinking about upgrading when it comes out as a final release.

  • i use the RC

  • I tested the RC, but I didn't put my trust in it, plus you can't upgrade from the RC to the full version.

  • no need to for me im happy staying in the RC

my pc's all run the Beta's/Rc's only

  • So you want to have your computer restart every 2 hours, regardless of what you're doing?

  • actually i found a way around that! its called timer nuke...

  • Well, what about when they stop releasing updates for the RC?

  • whatever i dont even update anyway....

but i may get the final version when service pack 2 is avalable

  • Talk about gambling, lol.

  • ive always been lucky i went without an antivirus for 4 months on an early pre-beta (leaked) and when i decided to get one not a single virus!

  • Regardless, still to much at stake for me, and the reason updates are released, is due to fixing bugs, and vunerabilities, not getting these updates opens your computer up to everything, these updates are supposed to fix and block from compromising your system.

  • whatevez....

  • What's Windows 7 like for playing games? We don't want all that security administrator shit that Vista keeps insisting on! One of the reasons I'm still on XP which is being supported by Microsoft right up till 2014.

  • just turn off User Activaion Control

  • lol what beta is that? windows 7 beta doesent have that start menu ...

  • probobly 6801

  • @Gh3r0m it doees :D

  • After watching this... I'll stick with Ubuntu & Leopard.

  • Is it me or is this video way off important things such as memory handling?

  • is that it? Hmm....i'll stick with leopard and see what snow leopard brings.

  • Snow Leopard isn't adding anything new... just in case you didn't know.

  • I knew that it wasn't adding any new features but new workings behind the scene, and if this is the best of 7 then i am sticking with leopard.

  • Or just use Windows Vista, its better look than Leopard, I hate the OS X scheme, its to boring, and just plain, also Vista, has no issues, the only issues you would have, is if your computer can't handle vista, but MS offers a Windows Vista Advisor tool, that can tell you if you can run Vista at all, and if you can, which Windows Vista, Be it, Basic, Premium, Business or Ultimate, I use Ultimate myself.

  • Go Windows 7.

  • first...^^

  • xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD

anyway, I think I'll be making my Ubuntu switch a lot faster now...

  • hell yeaa..

the only reason i switched to ubuntu was because of vista.
