  • Badass practice space and of course kick ass Sunn amps

  • Sunn = Doom/Stoner metal

  • @DB73093

    you got it! ;)

  • thanks for your comments!

I still get hypnotise by the tone I get...drone by myself sometimes or the drum is speechless when I start droning..haha!

  • Alone...alone in a room full of amps

    you could have stopped this

  • Awesome amps, the master piece of drone!

    cngratulations for that!!

    sorry for my english

  • @byeskyvalley

thanks man! will do some more soon I hope...got 3 heads re-tubes in KT-88 setup into 4x12 & 4x15 with all brand new Eminence speakers, boutique quality dirt and more EHX FX! crazy!

  • i runn a 70's model t threw a sunn 2x15 and a sunn 6x12.. usein a sun concert slave also mid 70's 4 extra power!

  • @SouthernDoom666

cool, that's an ultimate setup I wish to build. The 612 is the last item on my Sunn wish list! might get a Ampeg 810 instead since I can't find one...

  • @chevoton i've thought of runnin an 8x10 cab as well.. i been lookin for 1 forever!! i've seen a few guys start usein em for guitar and b4 it get's to popular i wanna try it out!

  • What textures!

  • i have an original 412s with the original speakers and they sound amazing. I also have the reissue model t and cab. Was thinking about running a 200s or a 300t through my rig as well. any thoughts?

  • @rorbalzio

nice! If I ever come across an original Sunn 412 I'll jump on it!

I'm using the 300T 2x15 cab for my Solarus guitar head and it push so much low end, I can't believe it's a guitar head! For the 300T or the 200S, I would use a 2x15, it would blend nicely with the tighter 412. that's why I'm willing to get a 412 on one head to blend with another on the 2x15...low-end and tight response blended together the best of both world...!

  • that was awesome. i play an original 412s cab with the reissue cab throughthe reissue model t. They sound great, but i've thought og running a 300 t through it as well. ever played on a 300 t? any thoughts?

  • Cool Video.. Great Collection!!! Son of Sunn.. =o)

  • it's actually my friend place. we practice there and we have show sometimes we even have a printing shop to make cd covers posters and flyers! it's called The Loft From Hell! there's a myspace at that name to check out the show coming...

  • I just realized you have a really awesome stage setup there... is that an addition to your house or an actual jam space somewhere? I love the elevated platform dude, good job!

  • you have the best idea, not one, two, but three sunn amps

  • @postxavii thanks, I'm actually using 2 for the moment but I keep the 3rd head for futur setups...just getting 2 different voicing out of one guitar is amazing!

  • awesome Sunns man. I'm trying to find some of those Sunn cabs at the moment

  • @somegrass1987

thanks, yeah I bought them all as kit with the heads. keep searching they're worth it specially the 1x15 or 2x15 with original Sunn Speakers!

  • @somegrass1987

oh and the 4x12 or 6x12!

that's the only part missing for a holy Sunn rig! but it's hardest part to find!

  • @chevoton funny you mention that man, I actually have an original 412L (the oversized monster cab) that was sold with the Model T when it came out. I also have an original Model T, I was thinking of getting another one or buying maybe a solarus and running it with the Model T for a tone mix... I saw an original 6x12 on eBay (it might have been from the Fender era, it's the same design as your cabs), the guy wanted fucking 2 GRAND for it... crazy

  • hey man...what disto pedal you kick in?

  • the 1st is Bass Big Muff in bass amp, the 2nd is Big Muff Tone Wicker in guitar amp.

  • Sounds great! I think i reply to your stuff in all the different sources LOL... Myspace, sunn amp page, etc :)

Great stuffs and rig worthy of my computer wallpaper...errr... :)

  • Sunn... the perfect vehicle for droning. Wish I had a set up as badass as that!

  • yeah and you really need a good place to crank them, with 2 heads at 5 the neighbor ask to lower the bass player because his all place is shaking..«euh there's no bass here just me on guitar...sorry but. it's a practice area here» lol!

and were playing stoner...it's really no luck for him!

  • AWESOME MAN!!! i just picked up a sunn cab with 6x12's

  • you're a lucky guy, I can't find any sunn 6x12 or 4x12 in Canada, all in the US...!

  • amazing! all i have is a 4x12 and a 2x12. i cant imagine having that many sunn heads...your crazy!

  • haha thanks, I had enough luck to find those 3 heads with the cabs, I see a lot of these for sale these days. I would love to get a 4x12 for the Solarus...i need to put 2 16ohm in the 2x12...celestions maybe.

  • That is some beautiful Sunn gear u got there! I wish I had a Sunn cab. What heads are shown in the video exactly? One looks like it was painted black, just like my Sceptre! :)

  • Thanks!

It's 2 1969-71 Solarus 80w head and a Sonaro 80w 1971 head. In the clip I use one Solarus and the Sonaro with 2x15" per head. The third head will be used with a 2x12" for delay fx and tremolo...

The black Solarus head just had the grill cloth removed.
