top thrill dragster is just a copy of the roller coaster kinga ka accept this one is slower and there is another bump and the end of kinga ka dragster is not has good, trust me.....

Before you say what you think you know, how about you make sure you're right.

Top Thrill Dragster was released 2 YEARS before Kingda Ka, and they were both built by the same company.

Besides, Top Thrill Dragster is better anyway, better theme, better view at the top, built first, and Kingda Ka is just a clone ride. Lame Six Flags!

No, Top Thrill Dragster was built 2 years before Kingda Ka. And Cedar Point was the first park to build a 2, 3, and 4 hundred foot coaster. Six flags just wanted the same thing, so THEY copied.

its funny they waited 3 hours. i just got back yesterday from a whole weekend of cedar point. in the morning we rode maverick 3 times in 45 minutes and then went in the front seat 2 times in like 20 minutes. im tellin ya go in fall no ones ever there

i went for the halloweekends it was my first hallo weekends cus i liv in chicago i go every year and my cousins got p passes and it was the most crowded day for him

it was the opening weekend for cedar point so top thrill wasn't working great. not sure if it was a new crew or whatever. but i was filming and my run was really fast, not sure why they were delayed for so long

if it was the second train, then you have to wait for the first one to arrive at the unloading station. What they do is they have 6 trains. 2 of them go into the station, and are loaded. Once both of the trains are launched and cleared the brakes, the 2 trains come out, one to the launch pad, and one behind the launch pad. The first one is launched and the 2nd goes to the launch pad. But you have to wait for the 17 second ride, AND for the train to get into the unloading station. takes 20-40 sec

Yeah this was the 2nd or 3rd car, however there was some weird 10 min delay, while they were still on the ride. i filmed it and it took like 40 secs for me. but for my friends that i filmed, it was 10 min, thats why i used the wipe to speed things along. still an awesome ride.

yeah the nature of the launch mech means there are often minor problems.

what do they do if ther is a a rollback? WOuldnt the two cars hit each other if 1 was on the launch pad?

Nope, the other train doesn't sit on the launch pad, it sits behind the launch pad until the other train clears the top hat and hte brake fins go down. If you watch the brake fins go up behind the train, that's what would stop the train in case of a roll back.

Dragster was built in 2003 and Kingda Ka was built in 2005.

The launch is kind of shocking because it's so fast, but it's definitely worth it. Just try it. It only lasts 16 seconds. Everything besides the launch is really easy. (and the launch is only 4 seconds long)

not really its just a really big rush because of how fast it is but definetly go on it trust me after you get off you feel like you conqered the world
