I will give you guys a simple demonstration!!

Nadal was out of competition for a number of tournaments and even lost many points for no playing. However, he won 5 Titles but if we look at what he has done even beign aways for months and having points taken away... he has won 86% (62/72 matches) while Novak who has had no problems has won 80% (72/90 matches). That shows all of you that even when Nadal is in bad shape he wins MORE THAN ANYONE!!!

Here Novak won because he played better!! Simple no need for us to argue that fact. Rafael has not been playing his best tennis and we simply need to wait. But he has won 5 titles this year and one Grand Slam. Also is No 2 and close to recover his No 1 rank. (not that the rank means much, but anyway it bellongs to him)

Wooow...Novak just won against Rodger in Basel, and now this slather of Nadal in Paris. If he continues to play like this Novak will be NO1 very soon.

Novak won't be No1 if Nadal is around or Federer. But the rank does not indicate who is the best only who has won more matches!! Remember that to know who is best you need to look at their results every year and their record of ahievement. Novak is not like Nadal.
