You can choose either method from the 3D viewing options. Free viewing ( learning to cross your eyes a little to achieve the 3D illusion) is by far the best. See another of my videos for advice on how to learn this technique.
I'm a bit confused, do i need a certain kind of glasses to view this in 3D? or do I need to look at it a certain way? I'm sorry if this is a foolish question.
Thanks! You were right: alignment is just about spot on. Quite a challenge to achieve this mechanically without the SMM software in post production. But then anyone is far better off having the cameras aligned in the first place.
As far as projects go, I've mounting twinned cameras to my motorcycle and then gone for a ride. I haven't posted much of it on youtube. Far too boring because of the subject matter: ordinary traffic and straight boring roads
I suggest you try the free programme Stereo Movie Maker to align your videos -- at the moment the two sides are at very different heights which will give people headaches, especially in the anaglyph format. (We're good at aligning things that are different horizontally, but don't normally look at things that are different vertically). Lots of advice on the Photo-3d group on Yahoo groups.
Thanks for the kind comments. As I say in the notes to the side, SMM cannot handle the Nano video files without prior conversion ... nor does it run on a Mac :(
Great!! It's like being among the crowd watching the folk dance ^^ I agreee it's better seen with the cross-eyed technique. I made some anaglyph glasses but they don't work very well with the videos on YouTube T_T
I would say, that you've pretty much nailed it there.
The only thing holding it back was the clarity of the video, but the 3D was effective - especially when there were lots of people in the fore, mid, and background, like near the end.
Thanks! Were you watching in the smaller window? I'm never sure whether to upload smaller pixel dimensions at high quality, or larger pixel dimensions at a lower quality. Any ideas?

Thanks. Looks good.
YT lists a comparison with the new Fuji; about the same!
Dancing is an ambitious subject for 3D. Even the best have trouble keeping the synch smooth.

Looks great! Although I can't keep my cross-eyes for too long before I feel quite head-achey. Still, it looks great to me.
