  • I believe what I'm hearing on here.I 'm repealing my sub.

  • I stumbled on your video. you speak the truth I'm hooked....thanks

  • Let's insist!!! On an American representative!! Amen!!!

  • I agree and I already do this. As a matter of fact, I'm cancelling one of my credit cards for this very reason. But as a whole, Americans will not do this therefore things will not change. Until we start hitting companies where it counts, in their bank accounts, things will never change. We need to be determined to support American businesses that hire American workers, even though it may cost a little more. But at the end of the day, we will not do it. Great thought though.

  • Wait a second tmot, you can't ignore the reason that the jobs have gone overseas in the first place...wages! Unless you want to have your AmEx fees go up or want the prices on that fruit you eat to go up you want free trade to keep costs low for business. Once the prices rise for business, they will rise for you.

  • @rjamonanthony

That's the lie they tell you. They went overseas for "INCREASED PROFITS". NAFTA and Liberals opened the door. Republicans kept it open. And now Democrats still refuse to close it. Believe what you want, I don't want to debate this.

  • @tmotofga Not to belabor the point (or to debate you), I'm a business owner and serial entrepreneur who has outsourced some functions to Chennai, India. I don't come at the issue as someone who's heard about it from others, I know from experience. You're right...it's about increased profits, but the point is that when costs rise (or when profits fall) businesses will seek to minimize losses/maintain margins and one way that's accomplished is to raise the cost of a good or service.

  • @rjamonanthony

Have you ever heard the saying that, "You can't lose what you've never had."? That being said, due to NAFTA, most outsourced for Increased Profits. Key word being INCREASED. A profit by definition is more than what I spent, right? They wanted more. It's called Greed and there is no regard for how it affects this country. Outsourcing was not about losses. It IS about PROFITS.

  • @tmotofga Yes, but at this point businesses HAVE enjoyed lower costs by outsourcing, so repatriating those functions will cause an increase in expenses, decrease in profits, thus an increase in prices customers must pay. The purpose of a business is to make money and we find any number of legitimate ways to do it. Let me ask, are you willing to pay full price for insurance, 100% of your payroll taxes, have no contribution to your 401-k and accept lower pay? Workers in China and India are.

  • @rjamonanthony

We disagree. Let's leave it at that. If more Americans get to work and it reduces their profits, so be. It is still more than they had and understanding Supply/Demand Economics negates your proposition that everything will cost more. Not in the mood to explain it. Nice talking to you. Have a good day. You have the last word.

  • @tmotofga Okay, I'll take the last word on this. I'm not sure we disagree on the facts, stubborn things that they are. FACT: Ceteris paribus, increasing expenses=decreasing profits. FACT: India's NOT a signatory to NAFTA so wouldn't be affected by its repeal (signatories are US, Canada, Mexico). FACT: You'd need to do a lot of explaining to show how supply/demand negates these points; wish you were in the mood. Enjoyed chatting. (Noticed you didn't answer my questions in other post). Peace.

  • @tmotofga Oh, one final thought. Repealing NAFTA will have no impact whatsoever on bringing customer service jobs back from India.

  • @rjamonanthony

Absolutely not true unless you follow as you just stated, a repeal ONLY, which is hardly what I suggested.

  • Haha...the boy with the lips asking for a rib.

  • I feel you on calling India. I actually got frustrated and hung on a tech a few months ago.

  • Right on, TMOT!

  • Our representatives are career focused retards holding agendas they were contractually obligated to uphold when they signed up for their political party. Forget gold and silver: Lead is the commodity of the future.

  • I'm kinda crushing on you. Please run for president.

    Sincerely,

    ATL whitegirl.

  • @les2good4u

Thank you. I'd love to, but I'm not worthy. You'd be wasting your vote. Ron Paul is the best hope visible today.

  • most people are waking up about obama, but some are still brain washed and wont just say they made a mistake. how about ronpaul and allen west on the ticket for 2012!

  • It's good to hear some black people start to talk more about these issues. We will need more of this.

  • i agree 100%

  • Obama is now trying to get into another trade deal with South Korea

  • I insist on an American Representative.

  • 100% agree! Tell it!

  • Right on tmont keep up the good work a true Patriot................

  • Hi Tmot, sort of a new subscriber here. Everytime I have asked to speak to an American representative they either hang up on me or re-direct me to a Spanish speaking representative. Oh well. I like your videos and messages.

  • You're right. Keep up the videos!

  • You are 100% correct!

  • Good Idea TMOT!!

  • Next thing you know it. You'll being calling the White House and an Afghani will be directing our calls.

  • @JRock005 - Watch it happen man, watch it. lol

  • I chose a regional local bank for my bank and credit cards, so far I have never spoken to an Eastern Indian, I'll keep trying until I find out where customer service is located, its VISA endorsed so it should "follow the sun."

  • I've been trying to do this for a while myself. I always ask for an American representative.
