  • My mom watched this when I was a little kid, and seeing this now brought back a flood of memories. The animation always reminded me of the Flintstones, and it still does

  • @SnowbirdFlock The same animators made this cartoon that made The Flintstones (Hanna-Barbera).

  • @dmvsi Ah OK, that makes sense

  • Dick York..... 0:22 XD

  • Knowing that Screen Gems became Columbia Pictures Television, and in turn that became known as Sony Pictures Television today, I can see this being sold on the PlayStation Store.

  • This one leaves out sony pictures television okay?

  • Real television, im sure gonna miss you!!

  • I think this is from the DVD.. that set is not really true to how it aired on ABC but hey at least they put it on DVD right??

  • the 1st season of "Bewitched" had the Screen Gems "Dancing Sticks" logo after the end credits. the "S" from Hell" logo came in the 2nd season.

  • Carlos and Dorothy Ann like Bewitched, so does Ms. Frizzle.

  • ahaha dick york

  • Listen to that kickin' stand up bass! BEAUTIFUL!

  • Richii2 is right - the opening should have said MCMLXIV. However, the closing credits are indeed the colorized version from the pilot. Nancy Kovack played Sheila, the rich woman who was involved with Darrin at one time prior to meeting Samantha.

  • Love the original version of "Betwiched" opening. I was just old enough (junior high school) to feel sophisitcated to appreciate this arrangement - and to dig on Elizabeth Montgomery. Yowsah!

  • Tv land is NOT tvland anymore. Same thing with Cartoon Network:; it was better when Boomerang was on it. Now boomerang is better than Cartoon Network

  • Thanks for posting this, Bewitched forever!!!!!!

  • So many happy memories

  • bewitched is the coolest i hav another versoin

  • i like bewitched

  • oh no..the sony pictures logo..that's worse than s from h*ll

  • WTF? Copyright 2000 CPT Holdings Incorporated?

  • @Macintosh3745 Yep its the remastered version of the series the only one that airs the original series stopped showing in 2006 when TV Land dropped Bewitched

  • @Macintosh3745 That is the copyright for the colorized version of this episode.

  • @FRANK172 , what about the other copyright, which says 1966? 1966 is the year the show began filming in color. The first season was 1964-65.

  • I bet the Black & White DVD boxset has the following SPT Logo in Black & White shown at 1:23-1:27

  • Really? Because I love the plaster craziness of Sony! Write to the Sony group to keep plastering so they can win an award!

  • Thank you so much for being too plaster crazy, Sony... I'm not just saying that, I really mean it! You are a good boy!

  • This is my favorite intro for this show!! It's so dreamy and moving!

  • Please upload the Season 7 Intro

  • This is actually the Season 3 Opening the Original Season 1 after Sam wiggles her nose she gets smaller

  • the 1st season of Bewitched was in black + white and had the Screen Gems "Dancing Sticks" logo.

  • @saml760

Season 2 (1965-66) was also B&W, but had a grayscale "S from Hell" at the end.

  • Such a great series to watch. Nowadays i only watch comedy series that were made before the year 2000 and the same applies with the comedy movies (some). Because nowadays most comedies suck ass and don't come even close to what the people did back then.

  • Yes, this is the third season title (note the 1966 {MCMLXVI} copyright date); it was reanimated for color. However, the first season version of the theme is used, as it was in previous syndicated runs. The ACTUAL orchestration of the third season title, however, was the same as the closing title (with chimes played by an uncredited William Holden).

  • I loved Endora and the way that she and Stephen used to conflict over raising their family.

  • Hanna-Barbera Cartoons did the opening.

  • @haileyy9jenna1

Whereas on "I Dream of Jeannie" the animated sequences were the work of DePatie-Freleng Enterprises (DFE).

  • i know it just ruins the ending with them killing the screen gems logo and even back then they did it but used the columbia and tristar logo its bull$h!t

  • especially when it's Embassy Television's Logo You only saw that on FX

  • Would it have killed companies to use old logos with new logos too? I agree with livinlarge18.

  • Would it have killed them to leave the Screen Gems Logo

  • the "S from Hell" is still on the WGN airings

  • @LogoAttitude and TV Land but they air too many commercials and they put the credits at the last minuteof the show but after SG Sony Pictures 2002 reorchestrated is seen

  • @livinlarge18 Yes, yes it would.

    That thing was evil.

  • This looks FAR better in B&W!

  • Don't you think I already know that by now??

  • ^^ lol

  • can you buy Malcolm in the Middle and post the closing credits we never see em on N@N

  • I meant i was first in Comment

  • NICE....I actually just got Season 1 in B&W today!

  • The opening is actually from Season 3, but started being used in syndication for Seasons 1 and 2 when Columbia remastered the series in 1992.

  • First.
