I find it odd that anyone believes in any religion, but I know plenty of smart people who do. And I don't know how anyone could believe that a god created them in his own image & still believe in evolution. Ron Paul has shown himself over & over again to be brilliant, honest and absent of Realpolitik. I may disagree with him on evolution, but I wouldn't care if he worshiped the devil and wore Kiss make up to his inauguration, I still want him to be my president.
@MormonFacts1 there are millions of people living in poverty in this country with no place to live and no food, no health care....
On the other hand, there are people in this country with 145, 200, 45 thousand acres of land and getting welfare from the Department of agriculture... Have you ever heard Ron Paul addressing that? NO
Ron Paul thinks social services is stilling.... what a dutch bag...
I don't understand why so many young people don't see what I see: Ron Paul is a despicable man.
@MormonFacts1 there are people of people in poverty in this country with no place to live and no food, no health care....

@MormonFacts1 I'm not talking about poverty in foreign countries, I'm talking about United States Of America. You need to go out more often, my friend, and see with your own eyes.... but remember: Blacks, Hispanics, are people too. There are many white children living in poverty in USA. There are millions of people in USA who can not afford health care. There are millions who have no place to live.
On the other hand, there are people making 140 million $ bonus a year and paying little taxes
@MormonFacts1 Absolutely. He is not only wrong, but also cruel. If you live in an under develop country and you have no resources to feed your children, they die. I hope you never had the need to ask the government for help to feed your children, but if you do I would be very happy if you got help.
Note: to get in context of this convesation, scroll down to the beginning of these series of comments where I say:
"Ron Paul is not defending the poor or the middle class. He is defending the rich. I'll tell you why: He says he defends the "rights of the individual" and the constitution."
So, don't let Ron Paul fool you when he said he defends the rights of the individual person because now you know that in society a rich individual is not the same as the poor individual, and you know that society needs a strong government to enforce the laws that protect us and the environment. If you don't like the government of president Obama, that's fine, but don't let politicians like Ron Paul threat the institution that represent all of us in society: the government of United States.
The revolution of Ron Paul is meant to give absolute power to the rich class as he wants to cripple function of the government in society. He doesn't want to fix the government to provide better service to society, no. He wants to eliminate government (leave the army only) and leave us to the mercy of the rich class and their corporations.
corporations, by definition, are in pursue of profits at all cost. So if no government enforces environmental laws, labor law, etc corporations would contaminate the river and force workers to work in no safety conditions....to reduce cost and increase profits.
That's why I'm telling you that Ron Paul is a demagogue because he doesn't tell you how society works. He doesn't tell about rich and poor.
All Ron Paul wants is to give more power to the rich class and avoid government regulations.
So, Ron Paul is defending individual rights he said, but he doesn't tell you that the rights of a wealthy individual is way grater than the right of a poor person like you and I.
Ron Paul wants to eliminate government intervention in society, but he doesn't tell you that corporation then will take over freely...and when that happen society and the environment will be destroyed. How do I know? Because corporations, by definition, are in pursue of profits at all cost. Environmental laws reduce
poverty spread out. More people became poor and fewer people become extremely rich and powerful in our society today.
Government provides BASIC services like low enforcement, fire fighters, parks and recreation, transportation, schooling, housing, health care, etc. Other wise, millions people would be eating grass and sleeping under the bridge and mini ban with their children.
Ron Paul thinks that social services is violeting the rights of those who have to give to those who don't have.
Buyers don't have that privilege to influence the market since they are never presented with real choices. Buyers are presented with products and prices set by corporations that agree to not competing with each other. Society produces very powerful corporations like Wall Mart for example that set the prices of good it sell itself instead of producers. As a result, many small producers cannot compete with other big producers so they eventually become poor too: poverty spread out.
Ron Paul has the illusion that government should not be enforcing laws because society can govern itself with the law of the free market...
Ron Paul is a physician, not an economist. He read Adam Smith and did not understand that Smith talked about the free market as an mental abstraction for academic purposes. There is not free market and there never will because capitalists get together and find ways to influence the market in their favor. Buyers don't have that privilege. cont...
We all, rich and poor, have the government to help us leave in peace in spite of our differences in social class, race, gender, etc. The government also prevent corporations from destroy each other and the environment. The government provides service to society to makes us a civilize country.
Is the government perfect? NO
Ron Paul has the illusion that government should not be enforcing laws because society can govern itself with the law of the free market...
Corporations help the rich people to multiply, and protect their wealth....The rich also use corporation to avoid tax liabilities. Rich people and their corporations sponsor politicians they trust to pass laws that makes them richer and political powerful.
Rich people and their Corporations also own the media and religion institutions which help them to keep the poor ignorant of what's going on in society
What do the poor have? nothing. We all, rich and poor, have the government to help us
Ron Paul is not defending the poor or the middle class. He is defending the rich. I'll tell you why: He says he defends the "rights of the individual" and the constitution.
Who has more rights a rich individual or a poor individual? The rich... rich people can buy anything they want; they can travel, and move from one place to another as they wish. They also get best education and best health care because they have money....and they are never "individuals" they form something corporations to..
@MormonFacts1 Ron Paul think social services is violating the rights of some people to give rights to others...search for an interview of RP by JK at CNN. Basically he wants society be absolutely ruled by the rich. How come you don't see this?
The government is a set of institutions that we as society formed to enforce the law of our country. Social services are part of a civilized country.
Ron Paul voted against health care reform just like the rest of the GOP.
@MormonFacts1 Ron Paul and his son are defending corporations every where all the time, my friend.
their theory is that corporations have rights like individuals.
They think, society providing social services to the poor is stealing from a person who has to give to a person who does not have...... that's the extreme of the demagogue. Social services are basic needs society provides to every one who needs it. It's what define us as a civilized country.
RON PAUL IS GOING TO BE PROSECUTED BY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! ITS UNCONSTITUTIONAL TO CALL AMERICAN PEOPLE INVADERS AND INITIATERS OF WARS.
RON PAUL SAID THE USA INVADES COUNTRIES AND STARTS WARS, WHICH GIVES USA A BAD REPUTATION AROUND THE WORLD , THEREFORE IT IS CONSIDERED A CRIME . A US CITIZEN WHO
WAS BORN IN USA CANT GO AGAINST GOVERNMENT POLICIES WHICH MIGHT THREATEN FUTURE
OF THE COUNTRYS SECURITY .TALIBAN STONES WOMEN TO DEATH, AMERICAN TROOPS ARE HEROS.RON PAUL WILL BE PROSECUTED!
Evolution doesn't have to do with the origin of life. Ron Paul needs to do more research into this and his perception would surely change on Evolution. The idiots twist evolution to encompass things it does not cover and the further idiots (Ron Paul in this case) believe them... it's sad
who gives a flying fuck? this is one of the dumbest things I've come across.. I care about what this guy wants to do.. not what his personal beliefs are... who gives a fuck if he believes in evolution or not? Obama claims to be a musli.. I mean christian and has a preacher that sermons about the white devil.. but you don't see him killing infidel.. i mean atheists and white people! no they would rather stage personal attacks on Ron.. stick with attacking the neo-cons douche bags..
I do. If he refuses to believe reality, he can't lead me out of a paper bag. Its not a 'personal belief' its fucking a matter of if you let your imaginary friend hide reality from you. If you do, you are delusional. If you are delusional, you are not a modern leader.
@TheDeistAngle Well when your ready to talk about things that are directly effecting the economy and this countries ability to handle it's own recovery process I'll be happy to converse with you on such things, this is an issue of politics and things that are effecting this country such as the enormous amount of debt it owes, if you want to talk about something like evolution go to a science/biology class, I doubt Ron Paul would ban evolution in the class room or make you pray, think about it
Nice condescending tone there big guy, Just so you know, i am fully aware that our current monatary system is based off of debt and its not going to last much longer, especially with the fed's solution to inflate the money supply even more; HOWEVER,
If a politician refuses to believe in reality, he won't get my vote. Sorry. We aren't talking about something thats up for debate. The jury is not out. The facts are in, evolutoin happens, and its been observed.
@TheDeistAngle wow that was fast. Condescending? Nope, Just common sense, and "not going to last much longer?, you must think inflation is a good thing overall huh? And I'm not debating the theory of evolution.. you seem to be under the impression that I'm against the idea of evolution.. No, I just know how to separate and prioritize two completely different subjects.. and as for your vote.. As far as i know this is still America so vote however you want that's the point isn't it?
I totally disagree with R.P on this. Evolution is as much a fact as anything else in science. However, he is still my favourite American politician. As a libertarian, he is against forcing his views on others. If he were proposing to take control of the nations schooling I would worry; but he is against ANY central control of education. He may be ignorant about science, but he sure knows his economics and his politics.
Relax! Ron Paul is a very rational person and I think that if he really looked into the subject he would probably have a different point of view, but he's a little busy with trying to save the US dollar, ending the Fed, ending the war and war on drugs, bringing all troops home, and following the constitution.
As he said, it is not his most important issue. He probably has done no research on it, because as another comment says "he really looked into the subject he would probably have a different point of view, but he's a little busy with trying to save the US dollar, ending the Fed, ending the war and war on drugs, bringing all troops home, and following the constitution."(By Dokkom503)
I believe evolutions to be the most logical "theory" we have, and i don't believe in god as the bible or any religion dictates "him" to be, so as much as I support ron paul and the libertarian type of conservatism(i also kinda have some "liberal"-ish views)
this is a point i've had trouble dealing with, that most libertarians are also fundamentally religious, but at least they would definitely not make any laws shoving their religion down our throat, and, like he said the religion of a presidential nominee is not important, definitely not in this case.
You see, this is why I really like Ron Paul. Do I disagree with him about evolution? Absolutely, but he said right at the beginning, that this was an inappropriate question for a politician to decide on a scientific matter.
He's a creationist (I'm assuming from this video), but he is wise enough to know that this is NOT an issue to be dealt with politically. Is my cosmology different then Ron Pauls? Yes, but it doesn't factor in at all, for both of us. He keeps his religion to himself.
Just a theory? No. Evolution is a fact. Nobody sane claims that we have absolute proof of matters of fact, we just have probability. As an example we can say that there is a 99.9999% chance that the Earth orbits the sun. It is so probable we can just call it a fact at that point rather then a theory. There is so much evidence for evolution, we can say it is a 99.9999% chance and we can also call it a fact.
There is Graviton THEORY that explains gravity -- the law of gravity is just the mathematical formula (F=Gm1m2/d2).
There is Cell THEORY which states that living things are composed of cells -- you can look under a microscope and see the cells, of course, but this is not "proof", only evidence (your eyes can be wrong). A collection of evidence in science is called a theory.
So think about this too: How easy was it to recruit "Christian Crusaders" to kill and slaughter others? Pretty damn easy. Look what they get in return. Dumbasses. Like cattle stampeding over a cliff following a blind bull.
Think about this: How huge of a motive do you have to believe in a magical god? A huge one. If there's a god, you get everything. If it's evolution, you get nothing. You have a motive, and the politicians use it to keep you in line, as they have thousands of years.
sorry about the mispelled words and inappropriate words...I don't have time to check myself constantly. I just type and move on. And for those of you who dismiss my comments for the sole reason of mispelling words are truly grasping at straws.
Scientists maybe questioning evolution but you can be damn sure the earth and its living organisms were not created in 7 days by a supreme being!! I know what sounds more like BS!!!!!
"The stereotype of a fully rational and objective 'scientific method,' with individual scientists as logical (and interchangeable) robots, is SELF-SERVING MYTHOLOGY."
~Gould, Stephen Jay, "In the Mind of the Beholder", Natural History #103, p.14
Citing Stephen Gould is easy to agree with if you don't think it out. That very statement is a philosophically, psychologically, and political way to appease the average layman/voter. It's bullshit.
Too all of the Ron Paul Supporters, I am watching the CNN presidential debate right now, it is just in the beginning and so far they have cut off Ron Paul on two questions while allowing the rest of them to ramble on. They would not allow Ron Paul to answer a question when the rest of candidates were allowed to answer as long as they wanted to.
"....the creator that I know..." What happened to faith dude? Yuck. How can he act like he's for freedom when he does'nt even have freedom of thought himself. He's just spouting idealistic BS. To Bad. I do like some of his stances. But religious interpetaions trumping reality just ain't gonna cut it in the long run. The bible is to subjective to be used for anything other then personal inspiration.
Well, for one thing, he's not the kind of person to push his religious views on other people, he respects individual liberties. And another, Department of Education =/= Education in general. For him, he believes education should be handled in a local level, not federal.
exactly. Ron Paul is answering this question in balance with the political zeitgeist of this error. Any other answer that is not in conjunction would be political suicide. Therefore, ALL politicians claim to "believe" in a supreme something. Hell, you're not even ALLOWED to hold office if you proclaim anything to the contrary. Talk about Civil liberties being taken away from the top down...that takes the cake.
A substantial number of PhD scientists have doubts about the core mechanism of modern Darwinian theory.
Those scientists include members of the national academy of sciences in several countries, as well as professors at Princeton, MIT, Tulane, UCLA, Ohio State, and the University of Michigan.
They include molecular biologists, microbiologists, biochemists, ecologists, physicists, astronomers, mathematicians, engineers, among others.
I've been trying to tell them that, but I don't know who or what they are reading. I suggested subscribing to a good scientific journal. You guys think it's surprising what chainbanger40 said?
Wait until you see what the quantum physicists are saying. I have a feeling you'll be more than a little uncomfortable with it.
Yeah sure. A substantial number of political agenda bought off assholes. Check out how much the Templeton foundation pays its speakers to speak against evolution. Ask how much the political agenda pushers get paid. It's no secret of the BILLIONS of dollars that religion is pouring into science. Think about it. Study sociology, human motive, etc.
Ron Paul may be against government "meddling" but since he is a science-denier, and a religious nutcase, he thinks the "soul" enters the zygote at the moment of conception, which is why he will deny women the right to choose abortion and stop stem-cell research in his role of "protecting life" which is still a federal function
Under Ron Paul, it will be up to the state to decide whether it will allow abortion. If Susie-Q gets pregnant in Virginia, but it is pro-life, she can just go to Mass. and have the fetus sucked out of her body.
Ron Paul isn't a fascist. He believes in individual choice and will not place his beliefs on a podium. What you said is completely wrong.
No, because Ron Paul still thinks "protection of life" goes under federal law (It wont be up to each state whether they should legalize murder, so to protect "citizens" which in RP's confused religious eyes include embryos, Abortion is out. watch?v=66jpPCIzza8
I like Ron Paul response its a theory. I think scientist should always look at things as a theory because something could be discovered new. How exciting with new discoveries. Remember the truth will prevail whether we like it or not.
True but You have to agree ,the whole concept of a God is quit purposterous. what is also funny is that the concept keeps changing. first it was a mn with a beard who had a son and now all of a sudden jesus = god ,god = love etc. looks liek he is changing over the tmes isnt he? How much more proof do you want that he is man made?
You make the most absurd statements, Galvatron. You can't possibly know that there is no God. All you can say is that you, personally, have never knowingly bumped into him in the tiny little corner of the universe that you have travelled.
Yes I do know that there is no God. There is nothing absurd about it. Why do chinese (1.6 billion) and Hindoes in india( 1.3 billion) have no recollection or mention of your GODin any of there history. Argualbly 2 of the oldest civilisations dont know and have never known your God. doesnt that strike you as a little odd? I guess alot of people havent bumped into that invisible dude
If I say to an evolutionist, I don't see anything morphing today right in front of me, they say because it takes a loooooong time. But if I point out that certain creatures would have needed much more time than they have had to get to where they are, they speed it up and say well some creatures adapted faster. Then I ask them, where are the faster adapting creatures today? I want to see it happening...no answer.
Well whoever says that to you is wrong ,the reaso nwhy you dont see anything change is because we human controle the world now. And whe have been for quite some time, there is simply no room or time for change in either US because our enviroment is the same or animals because we change their too quick
That would be scientists who point these things out. they all do not agree 100% on evolution ya know. And to believe our presence on the earth is responsible for halting evolution is more ludicrous than the theory itself.
It's only rediculous to one who i t stupid to understand what evolution is. evolution isnt random change. If the enviroment doesnt change radicly the species doesnt haveto change ,why do you think certai ndinosaurs staed the same for millions of years? Hmm? not to mention modern day sharks ,crocs ,frogs ,turtles! Please g oread a real book instead of those stone -age mythology book called the bible
Vegitation might have changed, smarty ,remember there was an ice age that covered an enormous portion of the northen hemisphere (excuse my bad english). You tha tthey have found the ancetors of the elephants (not talking about the mammut ) but a smaller version without the long nose etc. Is it so rediculous for you to see that is the envirnment changes an animal has t oadapt or it will die out?
bullshit also that isnt weird, because there have been alot of disasters happening on this earth. But If you believe they all died out ,you beleve they excisted, right? And if they excisted, millions of years oke ,you basicly admit that evolution is real. You practicly pwned yourself.......
Nope I didnt say trees got taller because ther is alway high grass what you can eat. I say their envirnoment changed. Wheter is was there food wheter it was something else. We have found the ancestors of elephants and they dont have a slurf(I dont knwo the english word for their noses). Also we found the ancestors to horses we were alot smaller then how they are now.We humans are also ALOT bigger then lets say 1000 years ago. Because we have better food ,beeter standard of living etc.
Its all about supply and demand, Giraffes have long necks because their preferred food is in trees, thus the longer your neck, the more likely you are to become numerous in the population
And the elephants nose is called trunks, but the way :)
But according to the "theory' they should of took the path of least resistance. They couldn't "adapt" to eating grass? It would of been so much easier and way more in line with the "theory"
And I don't know who you are trying to teach what an elephants nose is called, I never mentioned an elephant's "nose"
But since you mentioned it an elepant's nose would be called a "trunk" not "trunks" see the plural/singular connection there?
perhaps in africa there are already tons of animals eating grass. i can think of 10. yet there is no competition for leaves at the top of high trees. so yeah that would also be the easier path to take.
So your asking people to believe, this animal looked around and said to itself, mmmmmm, there's a lot of animals eating grass, but I find these leaves I find on the ground tasty, if I had a few million years, I could grow my neck long enough to reach them, and I wouldn't have to wait for them to fall. OK
How about the horshoe crab...no change over millions and millions of years, no environmental adaptation whatsoever. It's the perfect living thing?
there are scientists who question evolution and they know a whole lot more about the subect than you do. Furthermore, there is debate among evolutionists themselves. There isn't a consenus even amongst them.
The top scientist of the world ARE in concensus that evolution is a fact. The information that is miscontrued purposely by Creationist is the minute details and the crack fillers of every detail. Don't be fooled by this trickery of words. The fact of Evolution is NOT disputed by the top 300 scientist of the world. It's politics at work that makes you doubt it. Don't be fooled.
that what be chritians who act like dumbasses. Seroiusly if you dont liek science then just get th fuck of a computer ,dont use your car ,tv ,planes cell phone etc.
That's the thing dumbas it's beyond proven. you are just affraid that evolution renders your bible useless! Be proud proud of your god, he had the sense and knowledge to devellop a way of creatio nthat is simply brilliant. why cant you be happy about that. You rather have your God using magic? Haven allhumans decendfrom jews ,fro mthe middle east while our DNA says otherwise?
"These studies also indicate that genetically all humans are much more alike than one would predict from Darwinian theory. Examinations of the genetic sequences of diverse modern human populations reveal minor differences, if any at all. One scientist noted: "It's a mystery none of us can explain." All this evidence suggests a recent origin for modern humans, far more recent than evolutionary theory would allow."
Pfffff Ohh boy ,you really dont know a thing about were we came from do you? All people on earth ,all men have this genetic marker ,fro mthis one man beleived to have lived some 20.000 years ago I believe ,dont pin me on the date. We all decend from him and from a small group of humans ,like 5000 or so that went out of afrika. That's why we areall still alike. But before that period tere were alot of different human kinds like neaderthale men and others.
Please don't conflate the science of electronics with the so-called science of evolution, Galvatron. The so-called theory of evolution does not rise to the level of a decent hypothesis.
Well there all connected in one way or the other. If you discard evolution, you discard astronomy ,biology, geology ,medicine, thats alot of fields. Why cant you guys see that you are just as ignorant as the folks who denied that the earth was round. do you want to go down in history books as a dumbass?
How could anyone truly be surprised by Dr. Paul's answer? If he is truly a Christian, as he has said (google his statement of faith), then why would be adhere to the theory of evolution? Besides, as a constitutionalist, his personal belief on the issue is irrelevant. Some have faith in evolution; some have faith in creation. It's only a problem when one side or the other is critical and condemning of the other.
My poor friend. Evolution doesn't require faith, it's based on empirical evidence. As a matter of fact, mounds and mounds and mounds of it. Please take a BIO 101 class. And it is relevant. If a doctor who went through years of medical school failed to learn about it, then I don't think he's fit to hold one of the most powerful positions in the world.
your stupid ,no empirial evidence?? What about our friggin DNA you dumbass!!! It already proves we all came fro mafrika and not from the JEWS (abraham ,adam & eve etc.) So stop lying please you making a fool out yourself. In 1600 galileo also had no prove that the world is round and you religious nuts mocked him 2 ,look who is the fool now.
His/her grammar may need some improvment. However, you seem to be intelligent enough to be able to understand Galvatron7's argument. Believing in god is a matter of faith: It is not a matter of fact. I believe in God, and I don't see any contradiction. God is about orgin of things, Theory of Evolution is about how things evolved after God created heavens, and earth. religions were man made: God has nothing to do with religioon!
farhadcoyote; you have hit the nail on the head. If God and spirituality were a matter of fact, then faith wouldn't be needed. Faith is believing in something that you can't prove. Every spiritual belief is built on faith. But this is what I like about Paul; he knows that his beliefs are personal and have no place in running a country of diverse and unique people. Go Paul!!!!
you are right. Faith, religion, and spiritualiy are personal things. They should have no place in politial discussion. Now if a candidate wants to say he is christian in on a TV ad it should be left up to him. That is why we have separation of church and state. Yes I like Ron Paul, and think he is gift from God
farhadcoyote, THANK YOU! You know america is the only country were peopel thin kthat evolution contradicts God or religion, but it doesn. They can easily go hand in hand. I mean if I was realigious I would believe that my God is intelligent enough to create me troug han complicated precess liek evolution. So complkicated that dark-age popel who wrote the bible did not understan it let alone could write it down in the bible and that's why that book put creation down in simple terms....
My poorer friend. I'm in the medical field and as a Licensed Professional, I see no conflict with believing that there is some truth to evolution and some truth to religion. There are still MANY unanswered questions in the THEORY of evolution. I think it ludicrous you would say he failed to learn about it, of course he did, we all did, we also remember...it's a THEORY. TO further say it he isn't fit to hold the office of the Presidency because he believes God created the Universe, is ridiculous.
If you were in the medical field (liar) you would know the scientific meaning of a theory. There are even many more unanswered questions in your religion and a hell of alot less proof. I dont havew anythogn against people who believe in evolution and also believ in God! In fact I wish every christian was like that. That would mean we were beyond the point of critisizing evolution because of fear that your religion is false
Don't confuse facts with evidence, bryanswagerty. There are lots and lots of scientific facts. None of them REQUIRE/DEMAND Darwinism (in the larger sense) to be the explanation for the diversity we see in the biosphere.
no they dont ,because modern day evolution isnt even founded on darwinisim ,darwin only talked about diversion between 1 species, in fact he set out to proof once and for all that God created everyting ,he was the first creationist. Evolution nowdays is waaay more deeper and richer then darwin ever was
If he really ad faith ,he would have had Faith in a God that uses hismind to create and uses complexity instead of MAGIC. Instead of pulling a women from a man's RIB. You religious nutcases are so funny. Evolution and God dont contrdict. Evolution and the bible do! But who do you believe more, Dark-age Hebrew people from the year zero who couldn't radnor write and had no civilisatio nwhatsoever or the peopel who brought you computers ,cars ,airplanes etc.! thats the question!
Not an important issue as an atheist who believes in evolution I still support Paul beacuse he is right on 99 percent of the big issues. Besides he wants to get rid of the federal school monopoly which exacerbates this silly contraversy.
Yeeeeeeeeej leave it up to the states ,yeah that will be good. All the southern states start teching creationism ,if you dont like it,move Yeah that's democracy working for ya. Havent you learnt anything about the civil war ,you cant make stats ,especially southern ones so powerfull ,evil things in the mwill coem to pass ,like slavery and then the north hasto kick yor texas hillbilly asses again
Yea, god in school is such a horrible thought, isn't it. what's wrong with presenting both views. Evolutionism is a theory...not a fact. Evolutionists would probably say the same about religion yes?
Your so fucking stupid. Evolution doest speak on if there is a God or not. There is nothing wrong with teaching kids about religon and all the harship it has brought to this world. How ever Creationism isnt another sie nor is it science. Creationism is a LIE and that is why it should not be tought in schools. You dont teach in shcools that the world is flat do you??
I'm not sure that you, of all people, should be flinging the word "stupid" around, Galvatron. Have you looked at the spelling and grammar in your posts?
And yes it is a big issue. What makes you think Ron Paul is right on 99% of the issues. What issues are you talking about? The man a lunatic.
I bet you've followed the swarm of people who love Paul now because he's a "constitutionalist." Because he wants to withdraw from Iraq. That's probably it. Open your eyes, this is just one indication of his utter delusion.
no absolute proof? Are you fucking kidding me? We share over 99% of our DNs wit hrat/mice and about 97 or 99% with chimps, that's overwhelming proof to me. The fact that he doesnt beleive in evolution makes him LESS credible and just another republican nutcase zealot
give me a link wich says we dont share our DNA with mice and other primates I would love to read that oh and dont give me any creationist websites neither
HERE'S THE LIST OF PEOPLE YOU SHOULD COMPLAIN TO ABOUT THE BLACKLISTING OF RON PAUL FROM THE UPCOMING FOX NEWS NEW HAMPSHIRE DEBATE: myspace(dot)com/foxnewsisajoke PASS IT ALONG
You dont even know what a theory means in the scientific term dumbass! My argument is valid. The bible cosntantly contradicts itself. The god of the old testement is very diffrent form the guy of the new one. Not to mention that yu jews stole the story of noah from the Sumerians/akkadians and stole a bunch ofother myths fro mother religions like: Jesus/Horus etc. Religion is false
If the Bible didn't contradict itself I'd be amazed, you do realize most of the old testament books were written by prophets, who the people hated so much, almost every one of them, was stoned to death right?
You do realise that most of the old testament is just fairytales, that there is no such ting as prophets and that theJews or hebrews heclaime to have written that book simply stole older storis from older cultures ,liek the sumerians. The Jews didnt even have a civilisatio nfor god's sake they couldn't even read, lol they had like 1 viliage called jeruzalem what wasnt even founded by them but by the romans. Nah I rather believe modern day science
everybody can speak ,that doesnt mean you ca neithe read nor write.

On the other hand, there are people making 140 million $ bonus a year and paying little taxes
platano1742 4 months ago
@MormonFacts1 Absolutely. He is not only wrong, but also cruel. If you live in an under develop country and you have no resources to feed your children, they die. I hope you never had the need to ask the government for help to feed your children, but if you do I would be very happy if you got help.

Note: to get in context of this convesation, scroll down to the beginning of these series of comments where I say:
"Ron Paul is not defending the poor or the middle class. He is defending the rich. I'll tell you why: He says he defends the "rights of the individual" and the constitution."
platano1742 5 months ago
So, don't let Ron Paul fool you when he said he defends the rights of the individual person because now you know that in society a rich individual is not the same as the poor individual, and you know that society needs a strong government to enforce the laws that protect us and the environment. If you don't like the government of president Obama, that's fine, but don't let politicians like Ron Paul threat the institution that represent all of us in society: the government of United States.
platano1742 5 months ago
The revolution of Ron Paul is meant to give absolute power to the rich class as he wants to cripple function of the government in society. He doesn't want to fix the government to provide better service to society, no. He wants to eliminate government (leave the army only) and leave us to the mercy of the rich class and their corporations.
platano1742 5 months ago
corporations, by definition, are in pursue of profits at all cost.
All Ron Paul wants is to give more power to the rich class and avoid government regulations.
platano1742 5 months ago
So, Ron Paul is defending individual rights he said, but he doesn't tell you that the rights of a wealthy individual is way grater than the right of a poor person like you and I.
Ron Paul wants to eliminate government intervention in society, but he doesn't tell you that corporation then will take over freely...and when that happen society and the environment will be destroyed. How do I know? Because corporations, by definition, are in pursue of profits at all cost. Environmental laws reduce

Ron Paul thinks that social services is violeting the rights of those who have to give to those who don't have.
Look for the interview of Ron Paul by John King of CNN here on youtube.

poverty spread out.

Buyers don't have that privilege. cont...

What do the poor have? nothing.

What do the poor have? nothing. We all, rich and poor, have the government to help us
platano1742 5 months ago
Ron Paul is not defending the poor or the middle class. He is defending the rich. I'll tell you why: He says he defends the "rights of the individual" and the constitution.
Who has more rights a rich individual or a poor individual? The rich... rich people can buy anything they want; they can travel, and move from one place to another as they wish. They also get best education and best health care because they have money....and they are never "individuals" they form something corporations to..
platano1742 5 months ago

Corporations are not human beings.

There is so much evidence for evolution, we can say it is a 99.9999% chance and we can also call it a fact.
id1337x 2 years ago 2
@id1337x
Evolution is a THEORY... We don't have 100% scientific evidence of it.
Using earths orbit around the sun as an example is stupid. We know that the planet orbits the sun.
Same thing with gravity...
These things are called "LAWS" in the scientific community.
TheMango121 1 year ago
@TheMango121
Nope
There is Graviton THEORY that explains gravity -- the law of gravity is just the mathematical formula (F=Gm1m2/d2).
There is Cell THEORY which states that living things are composed of cells -- you can look under a microscope and see the cells, of course, but this is not "proof", only evidence (your eyes can be wrong). A collection of evidence in science is called a theory.
You're wrong, wrong on every count.
Take a science class, please.

"Very inappropriate question" my ass
Ron Paul may be against government "meddling" but since he is a science-denier, and a religious nutcase, he thinks the "soul" enters the zygote at the moment of conception, which is why he will deny women the right to choose abortion and stop stem-cell research in his role of "protecting life" which is still a federal function
BicycleRepairMan 4 years ago
Under Ron Paul, it will be up to the state to decide whether it will allow abortion. If Susie-Q gets pregnant in Virginia, but it is pro-life, she can just go to Mass. and have the fetus sucked out of her body.

Time, it ever works to their advantage.
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
Well whoever says that to you is wrong ,the reaso nwhy you dont see anything change is because we human controle the world now. And whe have been for quite some time, there is simply no room or time for change in either US because our enviroment is the same or animals because we change their too quick
Galvatron7 4 years ago
That would be scientists who point these things out. they all do not agree 100% on evolution ya know. And to believe our presence on the earth is responsible for halting evolution is more ludicrous than the theory itself.
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
It's only rediculous to one who i t stupid to understand what evolution is. evolution isnt random change. If the enviroment doesnt change radicly the species doesnt haveto change ,why do you think certai ndinosaurs staed the same for millions of years? Hmm? not to mention modern day sharks ,crocs ,frogs ,turtles! Please g oread a real book instead of those stone -age mythology book called the bible
Galvatron7 4 years ago
Ohhhh...the environment has to change radically, so like in the case of a giraffe, what happened there, trees got taller?
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
Vegitation might have changed, smarty ,remember there was an ice age that covered an enormous portion of the northen hemisphere (excuse my bad english). You tha tthey have found the ancetors of the elephants (not talking about the mammut ) but a smaller version without the long nose etc. Is it so rediculous for you to see that is the envirnment changes an animal has t oadapt or it will die out?
Galvatron7 4 years ago
99.9% of all the species that have ever lived HAVE died out.
chainbanger40 4 years ago
bullshit also that isnt weird, because there have been alot of disasters happening on this earth. But If you believe they all died out ,you beleve they excisted, right? And if they excisted, millions of years oke ,you basicly admit that evolution is real. You practicly pwned yourself.......
Galvatron7 4 years ago
So...you are saying...trees got taller and the animal adapted by making it's neck longer.
I see, well, your argument has won me over, where do I sign?
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
Nope I didnt say trees got taller because ther is alway high grass what you can eat. I say their envirnoment changed. Wheter is was there food wheter it was something else. We have found the ancestors of elephants and they dont have a slurf(I dont knwo the english word for their noses). Also we found the ancestors to horses we were alot smaller then how they are now.We humans are also ALOT bigger then lets say 1000 years ago. Because we have better food ,beeter standard of living etc.
Galvatron7 4 years ago
That's my point, there is always grass to eat.
and yet...
a giraffe.
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
Its all about supply and demand, Giraffes have long necks because their preferred food is in trees, thus the longer your neck, the more likely you are to become numerous in the population
And the elephants nose is called trunks, but the way :)
BicycleRepairMan 4 years ago
But according to the "theory' they should of took the path of least resistance. They couldn't "adapt" to eating grass? It would of been so much easier and way more in line with the "theory"
And I don't know who you are trying to teach what an elephants nose is called, I never mentioned an elephant's "nose"
But since you mentioned it an elepant's nose would be called a "trunk" not "trunks" see the plural/singular connection there?
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
perhaps in africa there are already tons of animals eating grass. i can think of 10. yet there is no competition for leaves at the top of high trees. so yeah that would also be the easier path to take.

FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
I can't believe people still question evolution. Fucking morons.
wafreund 4 years ago
People with more IQ in their dick than you have in your own body question the modern synthesis of Darwinism. Get your s**t together, son.
chainbanger40 4 years ago
there are scientists who question evolution and they know a whole lot more about the subect than you do. Furthermore, there is debate among evolutionists themselves. There isn't a consenus even amongst them.
ah93704 4 years ago
The top scientist of the world ARE in concensus that evolution is a fact. The information that is miscontrued purposely by Creationist is the minute details and the crack fillers of every detail. Don't be fooled by this trickery of words. The fact of Evolution is NOT disputed by the top 300 scientist of the world. It's politics at work that makes you doubt it. Don't be fooled.

LaMarkism is not Darwinian evolution dumbass!
mynameisbuzz 4 years ago
that what be chritians who act like dumbasses. Seroiusly if you dont liek science then just get th fuck of a computer ,dont use your car ,tv ,planes cell phone etc.
Galvatron7 4 years ago
What's with your typing, you lose some fingers in an accident or something? or do you just not know how to spell?
I like science just fine, that doesn't mean I have to agree with an unproven theory though, now does it?
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
That's the thing dumbas it's beyond proven. you are just affraid that evolution renders your bible useless! Be proud proud of your god, he had the sense and knowledge to devellop a way of creatio nthat is simply brilliant. why cant you be happy about that. You rather have your God using magic? Haven allhumans decendfrom jews ,fro mthe middle east while our DNA says otherwise?
Galvatron7 4 years ago
"These studies also indicate that genetically all humans are much more alike than one would predict from Darwinian theory. Examinations of the genetic sequences of diverse modern human populations reveal minor differences, if any at all. One scientist noted: "It's a mystery none of us can explain." All this evidence suggests a recent origin for modern humans, far more recent than evolutionary theory would allow."
Chew on that for awhile.
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
Pfffff Ohh boy ,you really dont know a thing about were we came from do you? All people on earth ,all men have this genetic marker ,fro mthis one man beleived to have lived some 20.000 years ago I believe ,dont pin me on the date. We all decend from him and from a small group of humans ,like 5000 or so that went out of afrika. That's why we areall still alike. But before that period tere were alot of different human kinds like neaderthale men and others.
Galvatron7 4 years ago
Please don't conflate the science of electronics with the so-called science of evolution, Galvatron. The so-called theory of evolution does not rise to the level of a decent hypothesis.
chainbanger40 4 years ago
Well there all connected in one way or the other. If you discard evolution, you discard astronomy ,biology, geology ,medicine, thats alot of fields. Why cant you guys see that you are just as ignorant as the folks who denied that the earth was round. do you want to go down in history books as a dumbass?
Galvatron7 4 years ago
How could anyone truly be surprised by Dr. Paul's answer? If he is truly a Christian, as he has said (google his statement of faith), then why would be adhere to the theory of evolution? Besides, as a constitutionalist, his personal belief on the issue is irrelevant. Some have faith in evolution; some have faith in creation. It's only a problem when one side or the other is critical and condemning of the other.
MiltonMudburn 4 years ago
My poor friend. Evolution doesn't require faith, it's based on empirical evidence. As a matter of fact, mounds and mounds and mounds of it. Please take a BIO 101 class. And it is relevant. If a doctor who went through years of medical school failed to learn about it, then I don't think he's fit to hold one of the most powerful positions in the world.
bryanswagerty 4 years ago
My friend, there IS no empirical evidence... Do some research BEYOND Bio 101!

your stupid ,no empirial evidence?? What about our friggin DNA you dumbass!!! It already proves we all came fro mafrika and not from the JEWS (abraham ,adam & eve etc.) So stop lying please you making a fool out yourself. In 1600 galileo also had no prove that the world is round and you religious nuts mocked him 2 ,look who is the fool now.
Galvatron7 4 years ago
Galvatron, you are making a spectacle of yourself, talking of things about which you know absolutely nothing. A little humility is in order, sir.
chainbanger40 4 years ago
So enlighten me sir? were was I ,or am I wrong?
Galvatron7 4 years ago
Well for one your horrendous grammar.
bryanswagerty 4 years ago
ok and besides that (english is like my 3rd/ 4th language so..........)
Galvatron7 4 years ago
His/her grammar may need some improvment. However, you seem to be intelligent enough to be able to understand Galvatron7's argument. Believing in god is a matter of faith: It is not a matter of fact. I believe in God, and I don't see any contradiction. God is about orgin of things, Theory of Evolution is about how things evolved after God created heavens, and earth. religions were man made: God has nothing to do with religioon!
farhadcoyote 4 years ago
farhadcoyote; you have hit the nail on the head. If God and spirituality were a matter of fact, then faith wouldn't be needed. Faith is believing in something that you can't prove. Every spiritual belief is built on faith. But this is what I like about Paul; he knows that his beliefs are personal and have no place in running a country of diverse and unique people. Go Paul!!!!
dkphoenix05 4 years ago
you are right. Faith, religion, and spiritualiy are personal things. They should have no place in politial discussion. Now if a candidate wants to say he is christian in on a TV ad it should be left up to him. That is why we have separation of church and state. Yes I like Ron Paul, and think he is gift from God
farhadcoyote 4 years ago
farhadcoyote, THANK YOU!
Galvatron7 4 years ago
True
Galvatron7 4 years ago
My poorer friend. I'm in the medical field and as a Licensed Professional, I see no conflict with believing that there is some truth to evolution and some truth to religion. There are still MANY unanswered questions in the THEORY of evolution. I think it ludicrous you would say he failed to learn about it, of course he did, we all did, we also remember...it's a THEORY. TO further say it he isn't fit to hold the office of the Presidency because he believes God created the Universe, is ridiculous.
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
If you were in the medical field (liar) you would know the scientific meaning of a theory. There are even many more unanswered questions in your religion and a hell of alot less proof. I dont havew anythogn against people who believe in evolution and also believ in God! In fact I wish every christian was like that. That would mean we were beyond the point of critisizing evolution because of fear that your religion is false
Galvatron7 4 years ago
Don't confuse facts with evidence, bryanswagerty. There are lots and lots of scientific facts. None of them REQUIRE/DEMAND Darwinism (in the larger sense) to be the explanation for the diversity we see in the biosphere.
chainbanger40 4 years ago
no they dont ,because modern day evolution isnt even founded on darwinisim ,darwin only talked about diversion between 1 species, in fact he set out to proof once and for all that God created everyting ,he was the first creationist. Evolution nowdays is waaay more deeper and richer then darwin ever was
Galvatron7 4 years ago
If he really ad faith ,he would have had Faith in a God that uses hismind to create and uses complexity instead of MAGIC. Instead of pulling a women from a man's RIB. You religious nutcases are so funny. Evolution and God dont contrdict. Evolution and the bible do! But who do you believe more, Dark-age Hebrew people from the year zero who couldn't radnor write and had no civilisatio nwhatsoever or the peopel who brought you computers ,cars ,airplanes etc.! thats the question!
Galvatron7 4 years ago
Not an important issue as an atheist who believes in evolution I still support Paul beacuse he is right on 99 percent of the big issues. Besides he wants to get rid of the federal school monopoly which exacerbates this silly contraversy.
CorollaKing 4 years ago
Yeeeeeeeeej leave it up to the states ,yeah that will be good. All the southern states start teching creationism ,if you dont like it,move Yeah that's democracy working for ya. Havent you learnt anything about the civil war ,you cant make stats ,especially southern ones so powerfull ,evil things in the mwill coem to pass ,like slavery and then the north hasto kick yor texas hillbilly asses again
Galvatron7 4 years ago
Yea, god in school is such a horrible thought, isn't it. what's wrong with presenting both views. Evolutionism is a theory...not a fact. Evolutionists would probably say the same about religion yes?
So what's wrong with teaching both?
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
Your so fucking stupid. Evolution doest speak on if there is a God or not. There is nothing wrong with teaching kids about religon and all the harship it has brought to this world. How ever Creationism isnt another sie nor is it science. Creationism is a LIE and that is why it should not be tought in schools. You dont teach in shcools that the world is flat do you??
Galvatron7 4 years ago
I'm not sure that you, of all people, should be flinging the word "stupid" around, Galvatron. Have you looked at the spelling and grammar in your posts?
chainbanger40 4 years ago
wow why didnt you respond on what I said ,instead of how I said it
Galvatron7 4 years ago
Oy that would be great. [/sarcasm]
Open your eyes, this is just one indication of his utter delusion.
bryanswagerty 4 years ago
He says "There is not absolute proof on either side", this is right, nobody knows for sure what is going on.
LawrenciumTradera 4 years ago 2
no absolute proof? Are you fucking kidding me? We share over 99% of our DNs wit hrat/mice and about 97 or 99% with chimps, that's overwhelming proof to me. The fact that he doesnt beleive in evolution makes him LESS credible and just another republican nutcase zealot
Galvatron7 4 years ago
That's also recently been proven to be incorrect, perhaps a subscription to a science journal would help.
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
your the one who needs to subcribe

Don't know if you all are aware but Swiss cheese has far less holes than the theory of evolution.
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
Yup and even var lesser holes then the theory that is christianity /religion
Galvatron7 4 years ago
To bad your argument does. IT IS A THEORY. DEAL WITH IT.
xexkxex 4 years ago
You dont even know what a theory means in the scientific term dumbass! My argument is valid. The bible cosntantly contradicts itself. The god of the old testement is very diffrent form the guy of the new one. Not to mention that yu jews stole the story of noah from the Sumerians/akkadians and stole a bunch ofother myths fro mother religions like: Jesus/Horus etc. Religion is false
Galvatron7 4 years ago
If the Bible didn't contradict itself I'd be amazed, you do realize most of the old testament books were written by prophets, who the people hated so much, almost every one of them, was stoned to death right?
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
You do realise that most of the old testament is just fairytales, that there is no such ting as prophets and that theJews or hebrews heclaime to have written that book simply stole older storis from older cultures ,liek the sumerians. The Jews didnt even have a civilisatio nfor god's sake they couldn't even read, lol they had like 1 viliage called jeruzalem what wasnt even founded by them but by the romans. Nah I rather believe modern day science
Galvatron7 4 years ago
The Romans founded Jerusalem? And the Hebrew language that the Jews couldn't read too?
The Romans gave them their very own language?
I must of fell asleep in social studies that day.
You're entertaining.
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
everybody can speak ,that doesnt mean you ca neithe read nor write. Or do youwan to tel me that hebrew is the oldest language in the world? you do know te the first bible(s) was/were written in Greek. The romans might have though them ow to read /write because some ignoran dessert dwelling dumbfucks cant do that on their own
Galvatron7 4 years ago
Get your facts straight, the New Testament is written in Greek, not the old.
FzSBLACKMAGICK 4 years ago
I was talkign about the bible as a whole ,the old testament/thora was never wrtiten down but told on until around or even after A.D. Everybody knows the hebrews could not write. In fact jesus dint even speak jeweish/jiddisch or hebrew ,he spoke arameic! Pwnd
Galvatron7 4 years ago
Jesus. It's not even a valid issue with Dr. Paul . It's like he's one to push his religious beliefs on the American people.
