I've kept fancy rats for about 20 years, and they are just like that! It takes a lot of skill trying to hold on while all the others are there, and they enjoy the challenge. As for the falling, we don't know how far they fall, or even what the landing consists of - hard concrete or cushions... I'd hazard a guess, given the condition of the animals (very clean, very bright-eyed, alert) that they are very well looked after by their owner.

So try not to worry yourself, hon!

Ach, so ein Blödsinn! Ich hab selber Ratten und die krackseln gerne auf Seilen rum, und dieser Ring ist auch ein geeignetes Rattenspielzeug. Klar wurden die Ratten da raufgesetzt, aber das macht ihnen sicher nichts aus. Und ganz ehrlich: Fleisch aus Massentierhaltung oder Eier aus Bodenhaltung zu essen, DAS ist Tierquälerei!
